  • Nice.

  • jaming with alex han would be a blast

    BERKLEE, HERE I COME!!!!

  • Yes, there are some intonation issues. But the soprano has to be one of the hardest instruments to play in tune!! Id say he did VERY well for how much of his solo was upper-register dominant!!!

  • My god, I'm going to drop my social life, start practicing 'à la Trane' and hope that one day I could make it to Berklee^^

  • If Berklee teaches you material like this, then I pray that I get accepted.

  • Wow, he was better when he was 17, because well, he was 17. Now he isn't.

  • that makes no sense at all

  • Sligh intonation issues. Very few of the most experienced players go balls-to-the-wall on soprano like this guy without some subjective pitch. He does like to lead the changes, though, which also contributes to the feel of a lack of pitch center. In the upper register of soprano, intonation-schmintonation....keep it close and we'll get the point!

  • loved the solo piano....

  • Absolutely phenomenal!

  • thsts it...I need to go to berklee

  • alex han is a sax monster, and he´s just starting....

  • he's not just starting. He's been playing since he was 8 years old

  • he meant his progress and abilities are only going to get better. What is Han, like only 18?

  • oh ok, I see what you mean. and Han is 20

  • Amazing energy and band communication. End of piano solo is brilliant.

  • very nice playing, I really like the solos. Great piece!

  • Nice rhythm section. Sax player has some intonation issues but nice effort overall.

  • Listen to some kenny g if you want to hear what intonation issues are. He's as sharp as the needle he uses to inject other men and his dog with rohypnol.

  • @jbraven70 Nice effort? Intonation issues? 1. He toured with Marcus Miller, the man that co composed a Miles Davis fusion album, so clearly he isn't just putting forth "effort", he's good. 2. He's playing a soprano saxaphone. It's almost impossible to play an entire song on soprano sax and have zero intonation issues. It's like tuning a basson, shit just doesn't happen somtimes.
