  • uh... why do all the boards have a line in the middle of them right where they break?

  • @Cheezius999 The line you see in the middle is the center of the tree where the wood grain is closer together. If you use boards that are center slices of the tree, then the grain of the board will coincide with the direction you want to break it (which makes it easier) especially with pine as they are using here.
