Great vid. Definitely getting one of these and opening it up. Personally, I don't find a problem with dry-firing STOCK Nerf guns, of course once the air restrictor is out it's a different story. And since I don't have any foam on me to pad the plunger, any suggestions on a padding material?

When you dryfire there is nothing to slow down the plunger. The dart is a tight fit so it helps slow the plunger down and make the plunger head last. The plunger head is made of plastic so it can break with long periods of being use. You can dryfire an air gun as much as you want but you can't with spring guns.

i swear, i think the raider is looking a LOT LIKE a recon done RIGHT. its kinda like a recon, but with the barrel molded together, and the cocking mechanism transferred to the bottom of the barrel, and the magazine slot moved 90 degrees clockwise. besides from those three things, its sorta like a recon, with the internal cocking system, removable stock, and tactical rails.
