6000k SHOULD NOT be totally white when warmed up. It should still have a hint of blue. Those seem defected, or bad, cheap bulbs.

@NYballer11725 They are 90% white with a hint of blue.. These aren't defected bulbs chief.

@sup3rtommy not trying to work you up, but those lights look more like a 5000k bulb than a 6000k, ive installed about 8 HID kits in cars 4 or 5 of them being 6000k and they should definitely have a tad more blue in them IMO. They still look good though.

@FP5Gaming I know the difference between 6000k and 8000k, but when he passed by the camera fully warmed up, all I saw was white....my 6000k have way more of a hint of blue than his...simply because mine are not ebay bulbs

did you replace the wiring harness or just bought the ebay HIDs and through them in and they still work?

how long did it take to fully warm up and turn white? mine stayed pretty much blue for 20 minutes of driving

@Henyo911 Tha darker in blue you go, the more light output you lose. 15K+ causes nothing but glare and no light output especially if there in a non projector housing. I had 30K deep blue in my projector housing and it was fine until it rained. So i bought 6K and now when it rains I can see fine. I have 10K for my hi beams and 6K for my lo beams and 3k for my fogs.

@mzpnay29 Yeah, I have 3 HID Kits. Sounds like a lot but once you go HID you dont want to switch back to halogens, so I changed out everything. Cops don't bother me, I live in New Jesey, eveyone has em here.

I got those too on my civic but the sticker on the headlights says "WARNING, DON'T INSTALL HID BULBS" ?

is it still safe to install those?

@zuhedamvnos Thanks! Yes, these headlights were from eBay, however it is fine if you install them, the HID works perfect. Overtime my halo rings burnt out because the ballast is too overpowering I guess. But the HID's are still kickin! I have had them turned on everytime I drove since this video, and they are still good!

Is that the actual headlight that you replaced with an HID bulb or is that the projector light? Which do you recommend?

@soccer4eva17 The headlight is an aftermarket product and this is a projector lamp. I would recommend a projector light. I cannot explain why but from what I know, it makes things brighter having a projector.. Goodluck!
