Some people didn't get to choose the year they were born in. Just because they didn't see this scene before Family Guy or anywhere else whenever you older folks did, doesn't make their enjoyment of the song any less genuine. The song was released on vinyl in 1953 which is 34 years before this movie was released and yet you berate others for enjoying it in another piece of entertainment just because it was made after you saw P,T, and A. You should be happy that youth still enjoy this nowadays.

Just finished watching P,T, and A. I can't believe it has been almost 20 years since we lost John. What an actor and what a human being. When you look back at his work it is amazing to see how good of a dramatic actor he is in addition to how good of a comedic actor he is. John was one of the best...and I'm not just talking about actors.
