WOW!!! I haven't heard this in a long time....From the 1976 Atlantic album "Happiness is Being With The Spinners" which includes the smash hit single "Rubberband Man" and many more. This was the last of the great Spinners hit records with producer Thom Bell & The Sound of Philadelphia, its sheer brillance and the great lead voice of the great Phillppe Wynne.

i really love this song...they always put together great albums and this is one of my favorites...this group was so dynamic live and always gave a full and artistic performance...We danced with them on stage in Niles,Ill and Disneyland ...the Rubberband Man!
the spinners are tops. thanks for posting, k-cook. i was trolling for their "four hands in the fire" but settled for ur excellent laugh-clown, which i listened to a million times back in the day. funny how u wake up and it's tomorrow. seems like yesterday (or the day before yes) it was 1976 and the spinners WERE tops with rubberbandman as their crescendo, novelty tho it was. they had a great run and, man, thom bell & the sound of philadelphia. brilliance.
