(1 writer), made a reference that George was acting like

"Howard Hughes". However, the writer was commenting

on George's purchase of the 120-bedroom mansion Friar

Park AND his 2nd estate on the Hawaiian coast. He was

NOT talking about George being reclusive! George shut

down access to the ocean for miles because he wanted

"his privacy". His native Hawaiian neighbors promptly

sued him. Some of them didn't KNOW who he was or

cared!
