As just about everyone knew from the start, time has now proven that Adam was in fact the winner of Season 8 American Idol. I didn't really think he'd be a huge hit with the masses; shows what I know.

From Germany, not following totally American Idol, I saw his performances then in autumn 2009 as he was often named in german teenage maga zines of my daughter. That time, I was so sad about the death of Michael Jackson, who I admired always, and Adam's catching, wonderful performances brought me back happiness because he is such a passionate singer too. so I will heart him ever
