  • @onehorseracing How do you do this to round objects? Say.. a shifter knob? Once you put it in, wouldn't you only have half of the knob done? Only thing I can think of is rolling it, but then wouldn't it be very uneven on the top?

  • @Carpythesharky Rolling parts does work good.. Most of the time it turns out looking good. I can't say its going to be perfect put we'll do your best.

  • YAY, real carbon fib....oh wait. Nevermind. Just a poser video.

  • graphic looks fake..... But, your technique, and skill at applying the material seems to offer consistent results (with a professional flair). I work in the aircraft industry..... I've had the benefit of working with large sheets of graphite and creating custom hydro dips for multi-radius cabinets ("s" galley). PPG products are well suited for this.....and they're durable. Pre-coat and submerge onto your product. Pre coat must be wet when applied.

  • wow that looks aweful 3m CF vinyl looks a hundred times better.

  • the dash is so ugly that nothing can help it to look better

  • method is cool but looks super cheap.

  • do you use an automotive basecoat to hydrodip?

  • Soooooo tacky.

  • this looks cheap
