  • Wait how did Magneto know about rogue’s ability?

  • I don't think Wolverine loves her Per se, I think honestly he just wanted to fuck her at first that's all.

  • I like this movie more than Spider-man the movie.

  • when storm tell magneto that kelly died and magneto tells her if she is sure thats what she saw, i would have liked to see a follow up in the sequal, like what i he survived and his mutation turned him into something else. what would you have liked to happen to him and what do you think.

  • The interesting aspect and ironic one is that Magneto first felt some distance from humans due to Hitler's Holocaust and the horror that followed, but throughout the film, he himself turns into a version of Hitler, he believes he's doing right and saving his own kind, while(in Magneto's case)almost killing off an entire race. Its a great story being told and makes you not fully hate Magneto because you see how he was treated as a child and can sympathize

  • Hey dude can you do x-men first class?

  • @SomethingDelirious I will down the road-- I don't do critical analysis of movies newer than two years old.

  • I didn't read 2much into Wolvie's "interests" in Jean Grey. I took it as a 'glorified (adult) crush'. and the bad boy factor of it is the fact that he is completely unapologetically aware that she is taken and not only taken but taken by a team member AND if that were not rude enough a man that actually saved his life upon the Xmens intro. The costumes *sighs, I dont know, they weren't horrendous, I like the fact that they wrote a Wolvie joke about them in. They SHOULDa been more personalized

  • I've got to point out that it's Ian McEllin, not Ian McLellin

  • where in the movie was Wolverine past with Sabertooth hinted at?

  • @MrHotSteph He looks like he might recognize Wolverine's dog tags.

  • Awesome review!!!

  • I think it's a bit pointlees and unrealistic that you're complaining Cyclops, Storm, Toad, Sabretooth and Mystique don't get enough screen time AND wishing Xavier and Magneto had more scenes together. Basically what you're doing is complaining that the film isn't 8 hours long.

  • @Mankind081 Nah, it's not too unrealistic; this film is pretty Rogue-heavy.

  • for the villians magneto and mystique gets most of the attention throughout the films. magneto is the leader so it is exspected to get a lot of screen time and mystique is the only hennchmen who stays with magneto through all the films. sabretooth (in origins too) and toad are also just henchmen. the other movies have other villains such as juggy, lady d., nightcrawler(hero), and others have very little screen time.

  • this my opinion on all the x-men throught the triology. first is wolverine which is my fav and is used as the quote "X-man" throughout the triology but won't be in the new movie. cyclops and prof. x are a little under used but they will be in the new movie. jean grey and storm are the second most used people. end x2 and most of x3 is about jean. storm is mostly used in x3. beast, icem., closs., angel, and kitty are mostly used in x3. rougue is important in x1 but not in the rest.

  • another thing that was pretty funny was when wolverine says you actually were this and cyclops replies what would be better yellow spandex

  • i know why mystique dosnt wear clothes. its because shes got this powers so she can transform into other person but i she wore clothes she coult transform into another person but she couldnt change the clothes and everyone would know she isnt that person...sorry for my english ...

  • I just fell into your reviews today and I really like them. You give a lot of good info and an interesting and well thought out review. I like Wolverine well enough but good gawd I will never understand why they focused so much on him and not on the others, especially Rogue and Cyclops.

  • I love the (all though their enemies) respect Magneto and Charles have for each-other. I am gonna compare this to Smallville (Don't hate me too much) like the respect Clark and Brainiachave for each-other, they'll fight but they respect each-other enough not to take a cheap shot when their talking. Like in Season 10 Homecoming, Clark believes Brainiac to still be an enemy yet he'll let him get close to him and place his hand on Clark's should...little subtle things like that.

  • I would have liked the X-Men movies a lot more if the filmmakers didn't focus so much on Wolverine. That ruined the whole series for me.

  • captain logan are you gonna review the wolverine film.

  • i loved the Wolverine Rogue stuff if she was a little older i could see them as a couple maybe. the first two films are good in my opion.

  • Yeah once again, I totally agree. Being the Cyclops nut I am, it disapoints me that he is so underused in these films. Jimmy Marsden is great (although his voice took a little getting used to for me) but he doesn't get to own the movie like he should. I really love the scene with Cyke & Xavier, where he tells him he'll look after the school if anything happens. To me, that scene is the only thing from the quadrillogy that I can definately say is 100% classic X-Men.

  • too bad the x-men in the comics aren't the x-men we got in the movie, hopefully whoever does the reboot , actually uses the source material.

  • I really enjoyed this film, even if it wasn't as flashy as the sequel. The third film however was a major disappointment.

  • They should just call this the Wolverine trilogy.

  • Great review, please have more. I agree completely with everything u said, BUT I would have design the costumes a bit different not to plain like in the movie but not to colorful like in the comic books.

  • No problem. I think it was only Ultimate anyway, but I have not read that many X-Men comics, so I do not know for sure. But I think the costumes that vaguely resemble the movie suits are Ultimate.

  • Great stuff there with the reviews. Keep it up, but just so you know- the X-Men leather stage in the comics of lack of colour was in an alternate Marvel Universe, found in Ultimate X-Men and Ultimate Spider-Man as examples. To my knowledge, the merry mutants only wear colourful costumes in the main, original Marvel Universe.

  • Thanks for the praise and also for the fact-checking. I wasn't reading X-Men at the time, but every time I saw a panel here or there, that's what I saw. Didn't realize that was only Ultimate. Thanks!

  • @Geekvolution Great you commented on the production history, thumbs up!!!!

  • Do you speak of certain scenes of the movie?

    Go in depth.
