However, there is a drawback to catching a gabite instead of a gible. Evs stand for "Effort Values", like skill points. Each pkmn can gain a total of 508, so 127 points are spread amonst your stats. Gabite at a level 42 in Victory Road can't gain as much evs as a gible lv 15 in Way Ward. All you gotta do, for gabite, is to find a power item,find a pkmn withpokerus buy vitamins.

you really don't need to fight gible. trow a quick ball. 80% chance you caught it

you can just throw an ultra ball at a lvl 17 and it catches it, you dont need to battle it and shit.

dude, you shoulda used a dusk ball. quickball+duskball(set DS to nighttime)+a couple timers=0% fail rate on all pokemon.
