is english hard to learn with out a horn and not falling of because i have always ridden wstern and i think english looks better because its not as heavy and hard to put on i think because im getting a horse so is it hard to ride without a horn?

Your definitely not too old!!!!!!!!! As your 28, you can get your own horse. It's a good idea too, if you have some experience in horse care, needs and welfare. Get a horse on loan, if you can't get it on loan, get a sale horse and keep it on part livery. Just make sure your ready though, if not, its not fare on the horse. I go horse riding every Saturday, I am 11 now and have been riding since I was seven.

@Steve2557 Of course you not too old. Every one can ride if they want too. My mum does and she is 50 years old. Take some more lessons and you soon will be able too get into competitions :)

my riding school is going to stop teachign lessons in december so i have to leave! i love it there! i was there for 4 years! now i have to leave my bff who is stayign there because its only a livery yard now and she has a horse she is loaning there ! all the riding school ponies are up for buy/loa/share i was gonna stay and loan but it costed tooo much! now i have found another stables where i will go on hacks and jumo but i will miss my bff xx and the ponies i rode!

amazing but honey i think what happend wasnt the horses being to strong it was you. You were doing this thing called pushing and you push your horses to hard and they learn more then you onest thing i used to do it once to . your beautiful keep riding.
