  • I'm not used to how youtube arrange the comments....@_@

  • It is by faith alone we are saved, & God gives us His grace that we become new creatures by giving us a new heart, so the things we onced loved now hate, this means we turn away from all that displeases God. It is only by His grace we can be saved so no man can boast, through God's power we DO / can change, but we always have free will given by God.... meaning if we do not follow on the narrow way that Jesus taught, we can fall away like one of His appostles did. We cannot cherry pick the bible.

  • @savana906 My only question to you is this: Where do you draw the line on the "straight and narrow"? How do you know you're still saved? Did you receive the Holy Spirit based on your good works or by believing on Jesus Christ to forgive your sins forever and bring you from darkness into His marvelous light? Likewise, why would you think that good works, so called "keep a person saved"? Refer to my previous comment about it being impossible to be unborn of the Spirit of Christ.

  • @bennettjm06 Hi, sorry for the delay, I don't believe its a matter of drawing any line with the straight & narrow... meaning your either on it or not, its good or bad theres no in between with God. Once I got saved this doesn't me that one cannot fall away, cos as it is written; ''Who endures to the end shall be saved'', so what does this mean to you? It is not by works we are saved through believing & repenting, but we MUST walk the narrow way, God always gives us the freedom to chose, cont....

  • @bennettjm06 ...God always gives us the freedom to choose even after He saves us, and thats why He also says; ''WHO ENDURES TO THE END SHALL BE SAVED'', Even one of Jesus apostles fell away in the end. Throughout the bible we are warned that No adulters, No Liars, No thieves etc, etc shall enter heaven. Many, many warnings are said by Jesus Christ Himself, here's just a few: Jesus said; ''Many will try to enter in but won't be able'', ''Many are called but few are chosen'', cont....

  • @bennettjm06 ...Also, ''Strive to enter through the Narrow gate'', Jesus also said; ''If you love Me you will obey My Father'', It is also written (don't remember what passage of the bible) Children of God obey. Theres many, many verses in the bible that are VERY clear that if we don't leave our sins we shall not enter heaven. Once again I'm NOT saying we are saved by works, we are saved by excepting Christ repenting... Salvation IS a free gift from God, continue...

  • @bennettjm06 Salvatiion is a free gift from God, & only God can make it possible for us to change, He gives us a new heart so the old things we once loved now hate. Once we have Gods grace... it cannot be we act & carry on living the old way sinning & doing the SAME things we did when we were not saved, because if we do continue, then we were'nt saved in from the start.

  • @savana totally agree with you Phil 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION WITH FEAR & TREMBLING. James 2:20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Jesus gave us command 2 follow if we love him we dont follow the law.

  • @savana906 I strongly disagree with this comment of yours....u are contradicting yourself....first of all,it's not that "we do / can change"....it's IMpossible for us to change...We are changed through God's power....we are Changed...and u said about a New Heart, so the things we onced loved now hate, this means we turn away from all that displeases God,then u said about free will that makes us fall away....Doesn't free will comes from the heart???and changed Heart means Changed Free will..

  • @RevelationDefeatLie1 I believe that when a person is saved God still gives us free will He doesn't take it away from us. It is written; ''Who endures to the end shall be saved'', what does this mean to you? there are MANY verses in the bible where Jesus makes it VERY clear that its a narrow walk to the end. If you know the bible, you will remember also that even one of Jesus Christ's apostles fell away. Jesus Christ was tempted by the devil and Jesus won! so theres a spiritual continue...

  • @RevelationDefeatLie1 There's a spiritual war going on and its for everyones souls, not just for the lost, satan wants the souls he hasn't got, he's after God's children to make them fall. Remember its also written in the bible; ''IN THE LAST DAYS MANY SHALL FALL AWAY'' .... what does this mean to you? .... to fall away means exactly that! it means you were once with God saved and then you fell away. Think about it and most of all, look it up for yourselves in the bible.

    God bless you.

  • @savana906 Of course there's spiritual warfare for everyone...Especially for the Children of God...and here

    1 timothy 4:1-2

1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron..

the word "seared as with hot iron"...if u check the original language...the word seared has the definition of carrying a perpetual......

  • @savana906 (as I was saying)the word "seared" has the definition of carrying a perpetual consciousness of Sin.....the teachings taught by demons are teachings that gives people a perpetual consciousness of Sin(condemnation)...and this teachings lead people to abandon the faith...faith is what?faith in Grace....Jesus is Full of Grace and Truth....in the Original language...Grace and Truth are one thing...Grace = Truth....this is the reason many will fall away....

  • @savana906 read my comments again and u'll see that then previous point is also relevant to the latest comment of mine....victory over Sin is the Forgiveness of God....and teachings of demons give people a consciousness of Sin when the Forgiveness of God sets us Free....and not Just that...God sees Jesus to Judge us...because He judged Jesus accord to our deeds...As Jesus is Righteous....So are We who believe in Him...

  • and I dun get what do u mean bu not following on the narrow way that Jesus taught....U Missed it.....This video and the messages that bennettjm is sharing IS the narrow way....the Narrow way is to Life...if Jesus meant Heaven,he would have said so,but he said LIFE...do u understand Life?....Stress is a form of Death,Worry,Loneliness,Aging,Poverty,Sorrow,Defeat,Condemnation,Sicknesses and so on...Life is opposite of Death(certainly Heaven is included cuz Heaven is full of Life and no death)....

  • If you say that AFTER our heart are changed and we can have the kind of Free will that makes us fall....it's like saying nothing has ever changed....u were not saved....then u are saved...then u are not saved again....furthermore....you are unconsciously implying(because u got a strong sense that you have got a strong part to play) that Jesus' work,Changing Our Heart through the Gospel,is temporal....didn't the Bible says that Jesus and God's work is eternal??and certainly I believe.............

  • (I believe.......) that bennettjm has the same experience as I do.....that after being touched and changed by the Gospel of Grace....we CANNOT change back into our old self even if we want to....I mean our free will part...we Dun wanna change and even if we want to so that our suffering in our circumstances can be lessen....it's Impossible...Jesus really did an unchangeable change in His believers

  • One of Jesus Christ appostles fell away and lost his eternal salvation. By this we must understand that onced saved not always saved. We show that we are the true children of God by the way we live, if we just confess with our mouths but then live like the world this is not true faith, we are just fooling ourselves, living in delusion. Jesus said to the woman: ''Your sins are forgiven now go and sin no more'', He didn't say; Your sins are forgiven so don't worry you can continue to live in sin!

  • @savana906 Judas was always called a devil by Jesus. So, he was never saved. And actually, being born again didn't yet exist at that time, so you can't compare the two because they're under different covenants. Simply put, a person cannot crawl back into their mothers womb and be unborn; likewise a person who is born again cannot be unborn of God.

  • @savana906 Jesus said : "your sins are forgiven now go and sin no more".....see the fact that the women was forgiven first, then she go and sin no more...it's not the other way round...sin no more then I forgive u....in Psalms 130:4 says like this "But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared.".....meaning that the more we are forgiven, the more u fear God and when u fear God,u will not sin...Victory over sin is God's Forgiveness of sin(being conscious of it most of the times)

  • It is written: Faith without works is dead. Also it is written that: No Adulterers, No Liars, No theives, No Murderers, No fornicators, etc, etc shall enter heaven.... what does this mean to you?. Even satan believes there is a God. Jesus said if you love Me you will obey My Father. A person that believes in Jesus but continues to disobey God and sins willfuly will NOT have eternal life, unless they repent & turn away from their sins. Repenting means to stop continuing to sin. Continue.....

  • @savana906 What that verse speaks to me is that if a person even has a bad thought about another person they just broke every single commandment and become a murderer, liar, thief, idolater, adulterer, etc. (James 2:10-11). Thus, like Paul, I realize I WAS one of those, but now I am the righteousness of God forever by the name Jesus Christ and His Spirit (1 Cor. 6:8-11).

  • @savana906 The Greek word for repentance is metanoia, which literally means: “To change one’s mind.” We must change our mind to agree with what Jesus says about how we are in Him, which that’s faith, since we don’t yet see it with our eyes, only can believe it. If we believe we’re righteous in Him we’ll walk that way. If we believe we’re God’s temple we’ll treat it like that. If we believe we’re this, we’ll become that, because: “As a man thinks, so is he.”

  • @savana906 That’s why we’re told to “reckon” (consider in our minds) ourselves to be raised from the dead and given life in Christ. That’s called faith, because we don’t yet see our body and spirit transformed before our physical eyes. And it’s only when we see the goodness of God in such becomings that we begin to understand these things and are therefore able to repent, since who wants to consider themselves something not good.

  • @savana906 Thus, the goodness of God truly leads us to repentance. Let no one despise proclaiming the abundant, rich, unending goodness of God.

  • Romans 10:5-6

5 For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who DOES those things shall live by them.”6 But the righteousness of faith SPEAKS.....

just wanna share this part a bit as well, sorry about capital letters, that's the only way I can highlight the key words.(=P).Anyway,faith is not complete without speak as well.

    Here's another one.

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved

  • @RevelationDefeatLie1 Notice that confession with your mouth comes first, before believing in your heart...that's in Romans 10:9

do read again the Romans 10:5-6 above.

by the way, thanks for the Patient part in 6:09...I needed it....

  • @RevelationDefeatLie1 Yes, that's a very good point about confessing with your mouth. Thank you for sharing that reminder! Though, that's not a law, since believing can come before speaking as well, as 2 Cor. 4:13 writes: "And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak." It varies on how our faith grows so that we know God is always in control of the increase. He's cool like that! Haha. :)
