  • the best hard rock band of the 90s....and beyond.

  • I love Scott's voice. I have to say Layne's was better, but after him Scott really rules and STP's music is so good. I'm glad they are together again as a band. Oh yeah, grunge is not dead!

  • The main riff of the song that opens it up it a near exact ripoff from a led zeppelin song named For Your Life, frmo the album Presence

  • I really dont hear the simalarity....

  • STP kicks fucking ass. GO STP!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

  • I am always a big fan of STP. I love hearing this on the radio all the time back when it first came out. Those days are long behind now...:(

  • so this is a Pinocchio's disciple ^^, he looks desperate, well i think he weill getting to live with that large nose, Pinocchio did ;) (haha just kiding) Well this is an evidence that grunge will always live in our hearts (Talking about STP, Soundgarde, Nirvana, Pearl Jam...) Grunge 4ever ¡¡¡

  • i love his voice, i love grunge, accept it for what it is, we cant all be britney lovers

  • Pearl Jam?

  • AcceptChrist777 - a true hypocrite. If you truly accepted Christ you wouldn't be judging others and labeling them. Just remember: the biggest faggot haters are closet fags themselves!

  • CHICKENFOOT

  • :37

  • :37

  • TITS

  • Jennifer V. Herrera C.....Do u remember this song crossing over the Brooklyn Bridge?

  • Scott sings perfect live, better than most bands can out there. Don't know what you're getting at.

  • this band is a beast

  • i dont get this "grunge" label on these guys. its fuckin rock n roll to me.

  • well the guitar music is grunge the vocals are a mix of diff rock

    '

  • i get what ur saying but i just dont get why the public has to put a specific label on every little thing. i mean its obvious for certain things. like blues, rock, jazz, classical but some of the shit they call things is fuckin stupid. what the fuck is grunge? who listened to this and said man thats grunge. or nu metal. what the fuck is nu? its just ridiculous.

  • Grunge is more of the era of the music, than the style. And as for nu metal I have no idea lol

  • interesting definition.

    thanks

  • awesome grunge band its not fake I hate when people call these guys fake grunge

  • well, people say that because they copied the Seattle sound. Have you heard Scott sing live? His voice sounds like a whiny adolescent at times, how do people like that get to be famous?

  • I'm sorry.

    The correct answer was

    'Alice in Chains'

  • STP is the best band of the nineties. Maybe even since Zeppelin. Versetality.

  • i agree with you they are versatile cause when i first heard Thank You a lot of the songs dont sound the same and thats not a bad thing they can sound different and still sound good

  • Love this song. All grunge bands are the shit. But I also love Zeppelin, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and The Beatles.

  • meh....scott is STILL the shiiii...the lyrics...the music...one of the best songs ever. never fails to put a sarcastic smile on your face post breakup with a douchebag.

  • Are you sure you weren't the douchebag?

  • due shut the fuck up about the 90's that was like 10- 19 years ago, there is still good music out there, just search on youtube for different bands for once, and yes STP is like one of the best bands ever

  • I'd say the biggest problem with modern music is that there's just so much good shit out there that you feel completely overwhelmed and wind up listening to the tried and true bands of yesteryear.

  • hey i`m love are the music, ho yhea is beatiful ,.. ¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • 2:17???

  • Tripping on a hole in a paper heart is the best from STP.Embed in my mind

  • weiland and cornell and staley - they have got the voice. the '90s had some good shit singers. of course, kobain, but these three had that rich timbre and resonance. great vocal quality.

  • Dont forget pearl jams Eddie Vedder

  • of course, vedder. he's got the voice big time.

  • nice name, gotta love the zeppelin

  • thanks, and the jimi is for hendrix. all three deserve their place in the annals of rock history - at the top, in that order!

  • man how i wish i grew up in the 90's best music ever

  • I just wish I grew up...

  • best band ever.....ddamned i miis the 90s

  • I MISS THE 90s!!!! :(

  • oh i love stp!!!

  • listen to this song once and your hooked!! the hooks r embeded in your mind forever STP 4ever they still rock and roll!!!

  • i like rap and this and im 14 but rap is not the shit on the radio,

    radios suck

  • I´m not beaner. Mexican women have moustache, and I´m meaning that this is EMO. I´m not talkin to you OK?

  • so whats ur point?

  • italian women often have moustaches as well

  • lol who said this is emo? lol its called grunge and its the best shit around imo

  • it is.

  • he needs to quit heroin....he'll wind up like layne staylee

  • you r o ay dill wheato!

Yo no considero haberte hecho nada malo.

  • English

    haber .....!!!!!

Aprenda de musica y despues y opine....

  • me encanta este tema

  • I like this one.

  • yea herron can eff you up bad

  • didn't know welcome to reality

  • The bass in this song is fucking awesome, I've heard this song before but I didn't know it was Stone Temple Pilots.

  • same

  • Saw these guys live a year ago. Fantastic performance. Also, has anyone noticed how much he looks like Budd from Kill Bill in that cowboy hat?

  • wow herron had a huge effect on him.

  • Okay, lesson time:

    Heroin= Deadly drug

    Heroine= Female superhero

    Heron= A BIRD

  • That's fine but I talked to the person who made the command and he meant Heroin 8D. Say no to drugs mm k, drug free 4 life!!

  • ppl used to say that they were pearl jam wannabes until they made this song then every1 stopped talking shit

  • stupid your just saying this shit because you saw the VH1 show LMFAO loser

  • poser hahaha

  • my fav. 90's love song ♥

  • STP kicks ASS!!!

  • Hell yea!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Wow...STP really likes to make weird videos. Albeit this is far more normal than Sour Girl. lol

  • You know i never really appreciated 90's music growing up. I listened to all music execpt for what was coming out at the time. ANd know i am really starting to appreciate this music and i wish that i could have gone to concerts while it was performed live!

  • Well, Green Day, Pearl Jam, STP, Foo Fighters. A lot of 90's bands are still around and still making music.

  • green day sucks, its very gay hahaha

  • thanks , mate. my scene is Jamaican music, but I find this ones really great :)

  • I'm 17 and I love this band. It really sux cause no one that I talk to knows who they are but this song is probably one of my favourites.

  • Dude, I am younger and I listen to music made 10 years before this and this.

  • hey dont worry about it..just take pride in knowing u have way way better taste than the average 17yr old going around. stp kick the ass of any alternative that's going around these days...actually they kicked the ass of every band back then too.

  • Feels like 1992 rainy school days all over again. Remember those lunch boxes? So crazy how time just continues to fly. So strange how we came on earth in its most revolutionary time of all. Life is so weird. I kept hearing this young caucasian girl say that. And she's so right.

  • He reminds me of a bit of Justin Timberlake.

  • And off topic, but has anyone seen a picture of Scott Weiland recently? He looks like Dr. Cox from Scrubs hahaha

  • You certainly won't be getting an argument from me man. Though I prefer a few of their other tracks, can't deny the likability of this one

  • Grew up listening to this...those were the days

  • extremely superb

  • Instead of arguing over the lyrics, why don't we all just agree it's one hell of a song?

  • how do you label this band? grunge? i don't care about labels, but this guys are genious.

  • And you've made it clear that you are a sore loser. You can do a webwide search on the lyrics and they all say the same thing....you are wrong. I'm not going to sit here and talk to a brick wall, so believe what you want to believe and I hope you grow up one day. Bye now, kiddo.

  • BTW - I'm sure STP misinterprets their own lyrics. (rolling eyes)

  • Sweet song. Thanks for the upload.

  • Dayum...u just got knocked the fuck out! You can call him "dumbass", but you just showed your whole ass for YouTube. Congrats, lol!

  • STP's for life

  • And I you look at the "Am I Right" website, "Rusted Chains" is one of the variations of misheard lyrics for this song, just so you know.

  • Comment removed

  • Someone is feeling very impotent that they have to argue about a line in a song. You heard them in concert, good for you. You saw a list of songs...good for you. I saw the official lyrics insert of the Purple CD. So you can continue to wax ad hominem about something that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme, or you can grow up and get a hobby that's better than arguing on the internet.

  • It's in the lyrics insert. That's what happens when you bootleg all your music.

  • One of the best band ever, just my opinion !

  • 90´s rock ever

  • is that susposed to be the king diamond dude from mercyful fate

  • I've got a shitty cover of this on my page. This songs a masterpiece

  • luv dis song...x

  • 1:30 "feeling like a ham and mustard shake"

  • Like a hand in rusted shame

  • Great Song.

  • music did go down hill until wolfmother came along and now acdc has a new album out rock on

  • I love Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains,Soundgarden, and Nirvana. Thats the only good music.:)

  • that is all good music, but is more. add dinosaur jr, flipper, and daniel johnston to your list as a few. kurt cobain liked them too.

  • i agree with you except for one thing: music for me went downhill in 2004

  • Yeah well your name is switchfootdude224

  • This is the masters at work? Long live STP.

  • great song to listen to on a nice sunny day

  • well, a song doesnt need to have the title in its lyrics a lot of rock songs usually dont, especially stone temple pilots

  • Excellent song

  • This song always puts me in a good mood.

  • scott sounds a lot different before he lost like 30 pounds. one of my favorite songs

  • from a musicians perspective i think the technicality of their music is what sets them apart from any other 90s band...love the guitar...1 of the greatest ive ever heard...covering their songs is the grreat learning experience...stp roxks fuckin hard

  • wow ur so pro!

  • when I'm nostalgic, this is one of my favorite song.

  • the thing i love about this is that it may appear to be a simple rock song, but the chords in it are like something out of a hardcore jazz song, not to mention they fit the song prefectly

  • me and my band are trying to be that good rock and im 12

  • gil

  • my band and me, my band and me, be polite to them

  • Maybe it is an Interstate love song? Some very simple people around here aren't there!

  • It doesn't have to be said in a song to be the title. Lots of songs are like That.

  • Porcupine Tree anyone? Tool? RHCP? Foo Fighters? There's still great music, you just won't hear it on the pop charts(like always).

  • buenisimoooo!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is just me, but I think we're starting to get good music back. Check out Cold War Kids, and Panic At The Disco's most recent stuff.

  • i think this men are very good ..nice music

  • I completely agree with you guys about the state of today's music. It's funny how I think of the 90's as the "good old days".

I think Rock died right around the same time MTV did.

  • i remember when this came out...those were the days :)

  • love this song forever . . .

  • Classic, Great Time to to be Alive, especialy Young-n-Wild!

  • i love stp but he fucked up when he jumped on board with velvet revolver

  • he didn't fuck up, he moved on, and wot the hell would u know anyways, have you been in his shoes? I think velvet revolver produced some good songs. each to their own i guess.

  • TOTALLY !!!

  • wtf?his band didnt really enjoy that he was arrested for illegal substances, so they moved on and split up, when scott got out, him, and slash and others created velvet revolver, which made excellent music, then he went back to stone temple pilots, so it wasnt all scotts fault, they ALL decided to leave the band, hes a great singer, he needs a band thats good as well, STP wasnt around anymore for him to join, so yeah, no, he didnt fuck up

  • One of the best songs ever written

  • Amazing Song....STP Rule!!!!

  • everybody had different issues at these times, and this kept grunge going as well as it could. still always rock!!!

  • Ahhhh....... the the nineties I really miss them ! such a good music in that decade

  • Who gives a fuck what the genre is.

  • classic.Stone temple pilots rock, back in the day,the good old stuff.

  • To those who say this is rock you are kinda right.

This is grunge mainly.Or at least the band is im not sure on the song this song might be rock

  • The only album that was grunge was core. STP isn't grunge. Everything after Core was either Alt rock, psych rock, or post grunge. My vote is this song is just plain rock.

  • what a great tune. rock/punk just isn't as good nowadays

  • This song is gnarly. mankes me feel old though..

  • sweet

  • I love this vid.

  • best intro since Monkey Man by the Stones.nothing else comes close for me

  • Not even Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who?

  • ooooh. that hurt. completely forgot. although Im not a big who fan, that intro is up there. good call

  • you sort of have to like it to like it but Corduroy by Pearl Jam has a pretty good intro

  • Rock song of the year 1994. Good times man, Good times.

  • Good times, indeed.

  • fuckin great song!!!!! PNA 09!!

  • Fantastically catchy song. Great classic STP

  • it dont matter what the song means its just cooll thier rocking out with instuments lol

  • love the intro

  • i damn love this song!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sweet tune....!

  • This was from their "Purple" disc(1994) right? I think S.T.P. could have come up with a better concept for the video than this silly stuff(or is it suposed to mean anything in the first place).
