Jews have lived in Hebron for thousands of years, only leaving for brief periods when their lives were threatened. One such period followed the 1929 pogrom, in which an unprovoked Arab mob murdered Jewish men, women, and children, forcing all survivors to flee.

Jews moved back into Hebron as soon as they were able to do so. They returned to homes that had been stolen from them. To expel them again would be an inexcusable crime. It should not even be spoken of as the remotest of possibilities.

First of all, I'm not sure what you mean by "their country in the 40's." The land you call "Palestine" was under British rule from 1917 to 1948. Before that, it was under Turkish rule for hundreds of years.

Or are you referring to Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem (commonly mischaracterized as "the West Bank")? That too is ours. Jordan took those areas in 1948, and lost it when they attacked us in 1967.

The truth of the matter is the Arabs living in Areas controlled by Israel have more rights that Arabs anywhere else. They also have higher standards of living than all other non-oil-rich Arab states.
