Anyways, it's not all about what our founding fathers wanted. They were wrong on some things. Nobody is perfect, and to idolize them as Kings is exactly what they DID not want.

1. Anti-Homosexuality legislation was up to the state governments at the time of the nation's conception. Homosexuality was never an issue that our founding father's ever adressed at the federal level.
2. It doesn't really matter what the founding father's beliefs about homosexuality were. Remember, many of our founding fathers also happened to be slave owners. Does this mean slavery is ok?

I don't understand how he announces the hatred of homosexuality so casually. I mean if he wants to be political about it then that's different than religious beliefs. But it's just horrible that he'd think that the better position is to hate homosexuality.
