  • They should of kept this I thinkits prettygood

  • Couldn't they have spared a few seconds of the movie?...this scene was only 21 seconds long and it's a very emotional scene which would've completed the movie! :/

  • It had to put this one in the movie :O

  • will the full version of this film ever be released? i read that it was really bad, but that was after it had been heavily cut by the studio against the director and screenwriter's wishes. it would be nice to see the film (which i've never see, even in its truncated form) n as the director intended

  • the first crow is the best

  • ugh. the only good crow was brandon lee. not this fucking tommy wiseau fag in a 2 hour long coal chamber music video sequel.

  • @illuminatioracle *sigh* If you feel this way, fine, but why in the world are you sitting her commenting on this? I mean, personally if I dislike a movie I don't watch videos about it.

  • Before "the crow," or Eric Draven, was Brandon lee, he was a comic book character. I am sure, people just like you, complained about how bad of a movie it was going to be. This movie is about a different character in a different time line. Had Brandon Lee lived, he wouldn't have been in this movie. The story is really good in my opinion. However they cut alot of stuff out. This actor did a good job with what was given. Brandon Lee just had more acting experience.

  • Sarah's death is what pissed me off about the movie but it consoles me to think that she was more than likely reunited with Ashe in the afterlife.

  • why did they cut this out it adds emotion to the scene

  • I really love the original crow movie. And I've enjoyed all the sequells except wicked prayer. Set the wrong things right is code for vengeance from the grave. A great concept. I hope they never re do the Eric Draven character that Brandon Lee perfectly portraid. But I'd enjoy another crow movie. The wicked prayer movie was trash because they took a good book, and just raped and pillaged it for a few character names and left out all the good bits.

  • Now I could fantasies with Vincent Perez saying to me "I love you" 100 times. Dreamy!!

  • I might get berated for this, but I prefer Vincent Perez over Brandon Lee

  • @GentlemanGhost1 This is after snorting about 10 lines of coke right?

  • @blackronjeremy not at all...I don't do drugs...

  • @GentlemanGhost1

Vincent did a good job with the shoes he had to fill. Considering the overwhelming majority believe Brandon Lee did the best job, including me. I really liked him in the role though. Everybody has their preference and I totally respect that, and Vincent did a great job, even though his predecessor just absolutely nailed the role with perfection.

  • Seriously should have kept this scene. Its a good one.

  • Personally I adored the first film and this one. I know in some aspects this film wasnt as good as the first, however I think both actors did an amazing job. I think what a few people forget is that this film stands alone, the concept of the crow is the same but the story behind it is obviously differant. This deleted scene for me should definitely have been put into the film, im glad that I could watch it on here.

  • This movie was underwhelming if you look at it next to the original. However as a stand alone film, its quite awesome. Its a very eerie film with the perfect tone

  • THIS MOVIE FUCKING SUCKS!!!! The main villain Juda was as scarey as pee wee herman. Vincent Perez cant act for shit. Brandon Lee and Micheal Wincott were 10000x's better.

  • @blackronjeremy This movie stands alone, the first movie conveys its meaning/massage trough emotion, but this one conveys its through symbolism

  • I think what made Vincent Perez do a better job as a Crow was that Vincent Perez went into the role playing as a Crow, not Brandon Lee.

  • What does he say in this clip?I can't make out the first line.

  • @papillonaquatique Its hard to tell but it sounds like "I stayed for you"

  • Amazing movie! They should have kept this clip in! I love hearing him say "I love you" to Sarah. I need to see the other deleted scenes. The Crow is the best and City of Angels just makes it all the more brilliant!

  • They should have kept this scene.

  • call me a dork but i've seen this movie three times and haven't bothered to look for the deleted scenes, so when i saw this i was like "OHMUHGAWD! HE SAID HE LOOOOVES HER!"

yeah. moment of estrogen over. thanks for sharing this clip <3

  • Interesting fact is that we could have had Jon Bon Jovi staring instead of Vincent Perez as he auditioned for that role too.He was only beaten by Vincent who definitely did great job, but having there Jon could have been at least very , very inresting .

  • It should've stopped with this movie. Honestly I never would've thought there could have been another decent Crow movie, but City of Angels was quite good

  • the novelization is way better it explains all the holes in this movie the film was ruined by miramax editing but i heard alot of positive reviews on the novel based on this

  • You know, I may get a thumbs down for this. But does anyone find it kind of eerie how much Vincent resembles Brandon in certain scenes?

I just always found that kind of eerie and unreal. Like when he's holding Sarah I see the resemblance, when he buries Danny and holds the dirt I see it, and etc.

  • No thumbs down for this. I agree completely.

  • holy crap your right

  • @LastSunrise1981 I understand, read the book. I did after i saw the movie, The book makes more sense and is much better. In the book which they show in the movie but dont explain is that the dreams that Sarah had about Ashe she thought in the dream that it was Eric who came back. It was not until she got to the dock that she realized that it was not Eric.

  • @LastSunrise1981 Shit and I thought Im the only one noticing it.Wow...so I guess im not the only one.

  • @LastSunrise1981 so do i

  • @LastSunrise1981 I agree...its kinda strange actually.

  • @LastSunrise1981 you r so right, he does resemble brandon lee in certain parts. But maybe thats way they picked him for this role. who knows

  • *sniff* I wanna keep Vincent Perez now!

  • aww he stayed for sara.. then juda (or how evr spld) had to go and kill her... =[ sad...

  • there will never be a better crow than brandon lee

now i do love all the crow movies but still no one can compare to brandon lee's last preformance

  • nah u fake

  • no its true u fake

  • Vincent Perez is not trying to out shine Brandon Lee in this movie. He said so himself. Also I do agree with you there is no one else like Brandon lee as the crow.

  • check out the novel on this movie it explains the holes that this films editing left out i heard its really detailed and good from the reviews on amazon

  • aww how sad

  • This film has nice cinematography, but unfortunatelly its bad rap is more famous than the atocities that followed it.

  • God, they should have kept this!

  • vincent perez looks badass in the make up he and brandon look the best

  • I love how he says 'i stayed for you'

The first Crow film is always going to be the best but i liked this one too.

  • The First Crow was definitly the best, but I also loved this one. The two other ones sucked. Whoever brought Kirsten Dunst in a Crow movie should get the crap beaten out of them. She is the absolute opposite to the Crow. That's like putting Barny in with Family Guy. It just doesn't work.

  • @MoonlightVeil it wouldnt have worked if Kirsten would have done the principal character. she was the principal character's sister, so i think she didnt do a bad job. In the end, Salvation sucked big time.

  • @darksouldraven No what I mean is I wished they would of never cast Kirsten in the movie. Anywho, it still doesn't change the fact that the movie barely scored a C- average.

  • @MoonlightVeil What are you talking about? Have you never seen Interview with the vampire? SHE WAS CLAUDIA! Kirsten Dunst was a magnificent actor in her younger years. When she got older she chose roles that do not allow use her to her full potential.

  • @ValorwithHonor I own Interview with a vampire, and I don't deny she was amazing with that. But just like you said. The roles she has taken has led her far from that.

  • Comment removed

  • @MoonlightVeil Too true.

  • is there a uncut as well as some features for this film. all i get is the film with one feature.. trailer?

  • I read somewhere's that Sarah was supposed to be the crow in the third movie, but just as fate intended they fucked it up and gave us that crap of a movie called "Salvation"...

And payableondeath098 what are you 7???

  • According to the novelization:

Ashe stayed back when the powers that be (the powers behind the Crow) ordered him to return through Danny. (Judah Earl was dead by drinking the blood of the Crow, Turning into an immortal) Ashe refused for love of Sarah. Ashe calls on the power of all the Crows that have ever been to stop Judah, but by his refusal he is caught on this side of the veil. Sarah dies to keep the balance between the living and the dead.

  • For his defiance, Ashe is held to this side of the veil, destined to walk the nights forever apart from everyone and everything he ever loved.

On the other side, Sarah takes on the mantle of the Crow as well, and the two are destined to spend eternity forever searching for each other, forever kept apart.

If the director had stayed true to the originally planned story kept the 'artistry' (read crap) out of the filming, it would have been a blockbuster.

  • ummm i believe he made the movie exactly how it was in the novelization, just that the powers that be ( the saps at miramax ) decided they wanted a THE CROW clone n just about took all the personality out of COA. if ur interested, why not try searching for the fan made Recut of COA on mininova to see how it was meant to be.

Google: The crow city of angels second coming torrent.

  • That's very possible, but unfortunately when a movie tanks because of bad editing its usually the director's head that ends up on the chopping block.

  • Where did you get this information? I would like to read up on it.

  • The book is called The Crow City of Angels, it was released just prior to the movie coming out it theatres.

  • Comment removed

  • eric was the first crow that came down to kill judas

  • they should have kept that scene. my heart just skipped a beat.

what was the first line that he said??

  • I stayed for you

  • thanks.

  • i consider the first crow the only crow its the only realy good one

  • The first three were the best, i hope the future crow movies can be just as good, 'cause i havent seen one just as good as any of them since Salvation

  • I'm agree

  • They should have kept this scene in the movie and Ashe's and Sarah's interests in the movie =]

City of Angels is pretty DAMN amazing XD

  • You can go online and find the script for this, it's ending is real sad. The script's ending has Sarah in the world of death riding a cariage, with Ashe beside her in the world of the living, and when it fades to black she says on of her legendary quotes.

  • so in the script ashe stays in the world of the living and doesnt go back to his son as it shows in the movie??

  • Yes, it does have that ending in the script, but in the actual directors cut, it ends with Ashe talking to the priest, and then riding on his bike across the city. The reason he has to stay in the human world was because Danny came and told him it was time to cross over but Ashe stayed to save Sarah, and she died, so he was by himself.

  • Also, the only reason the movie had the ending with Ashe and Danny was because Miramax/Dimenson wanted the movie to end the movie on a good note, but the fans hated it. Also, the reason they killed Sarah off was for if City of Angels would have done well, the third film would have her as the crow.

  • hmm thats interesting. but they never did a part with sarah coming back as a crow. i wonder how that would have turned out.

  • so in the end of the movie they (ashe and danny) are reunited in the land of the dead but in the directors cut he stays behind, thats kind of sad. i think they should have done an alternate ending with all three of them being together. its a little bit more happier, in my opinion.

  • @cltorrez Agreed 100 percent

  • The story of Ashe is actually based on a edition whereby a mother witnesses her husband and child being killed by crazies and then they murder her. Sounds vaguely familiar? Anyway as long as there is pain, suffering and senseless violence there will always be a Crow.

  • I like the Crow and Crow City of Angels. I find those two movies to be the best of the movie adaptation of the gothic novels. I have practically ever edition of the gothic novels. What I like about the novels is that a new situation gives birth to a new Crow.

  • Why do people complain about disrespecting brandon lee and the 1st film?

Ok, the 2nd one has Sarah, and references to Eric, but as well as the latest films, are just other installments on the Crow mithology as well as the comics. I ddont think the crow films, series or upcoming movies try to emulate or work as sequels for the first one. Of course, some might suck, like Wicked Prayer, but I will still give a chance to any director who might wanna try telling us a new Crow story.

  • I can't remember why she dies. Refresh my memory?

  • Sarah Dies when she runs to stop Judah Earl from attacking Ashe but Judah stabs her with the dagger that she had stabbed him in the Head

  • I'll be honest idk why..but I liked the 2 and 3rd.

  • Honestly, I think that they should have quit after Brandon died. Not only would it have made a great tribute to Brandon by leaving it alone, but making move spin-offs and a TV series is way over the top.

They should have just stuck the story of Eric Draven. The comic and the first movie should be the only that exist.

I've seen parts of the second movie and refuse to watch the whole thing or the other TV shows or movies. I think the Eric Draven story is probably the best out of them all.

  • I'm sure that Brandon would've wanted the series to continue. I know he did. He was signed for new installments. He was one component, on actor, in the whole of things. It can work without him and does. You're the one being disrespectful. The first movie isn't even all that good.

  • The problem isn't Brandon missing. It's the change of director, the change of mood, stupid-looking martial art scenes, the lack of strong shadows, the lack of strong music and pretty much the lack of everything else that made the original movie so awesome.

Seriously, you have to only see one scene of this movie and you already know what's wrong with it.

  • Honestly, I still think it's disrespectful to Brandon Lee (R.I.P.) to make sequels of the original film, but I still love Vincent Perez, and I almost melted when he said "I love you."

  • I know your heart just kinda sinks at it doesnt it :-)

  • They should have kept this in, it's so sweet.

  • i'm so sad that we never will see the long version,i love this movie and i would love to see the whole long version.

  • I agree. They cut so much of the film because the director had made a completely new vision of The crow. Miramax wanted a direct copy of the first movie. The released version is the result. So stupid.

  • Yeah, I still like the theatrical version. But it just goes to show how lame Hollywood is.

  • nooo why did they cut this out XDDDd damn producers don't know shit.

  • The original version was nearly 3 hours long.

  • awh.. sad much.

wish i could see the uncut version of this movie.

  • I agree with you, I don´t understand why they cut this scene :(

  • Hello, there, I am huge crow Fan. When this movie came out, I did hear there was a different version that played on pay-per-view and some forgein copies. I was never able to to find a CD-ROM. Do you know where I may find a CD-ROM? Please reply soon. Thanks!

  • aw~ i didn't notice he said that to her "i love you" XD nid to watch it again.. XD

  • These scenes are off of the old crow CDROM which was produced during the shooting of the second film and was released AFTER it came out and was cut up.

  • yeah thnx

  • thanks

  • Thank you! I finally got to see this! I've looked everwhere for these scenes. I cannot thank you enough for posting this ;)
