  • I thought you were a better gentleman than thish sir

  • California is a SEWER! -- I caught the CHP falsifying an accident report against my Asian wife! The pictures I took (before the tow trucks arrived) didn't match the CHP accident report. I then found a newspaper article on line where the at fault driver's (driving a turbo Porsche) family boasts about their finanical, social and professional connection to the CHP---their nexus built all the CHP buildings throughout California! I went to the FBI and gave a hour long presentation.

  • @IdolHans shut up

  • @romance59 YouTube = Homey The Nieghborhood Nuisance . Is that you?

  • thats my dad ya know jeff stanley

  • what is beautiful is that after you charge the interest on the bail bond, you get to gouge the interest on the interest of the bail bonds.

  • great video

  • how can i get into this kind of work?

  • I'm not sympathetic to the bondsmen or the courts. You'd have to be crazy to post bond for someone if you don't know where he'd go should he run off.

On the flip side, the judges have a choice; give fines and/or probation, or set a trial date. If you're going to put the perp on trial, he/she is not going to want to spend eight months in jail pending the trial (unless delaying the trial will cause the evidence to vanish and the witnesses to forget).

  • We're talking 10% interest on a loan period of probably 3 months at most (40% APR!) to reach a court date. There was a piece in the NYTimes on this subject and it quoted a roughly 1 in 20 chance of default. So if every 9 "good" clients can settle each default, then interest earnings from the remaining 10 of every 20 clients is pure revenue. In other words, the bail bondsman gets 20% APR. That my friend, is big money!

  • anyone charging interest on a bail bond is breaking the law.

  • A lot of people put their houses up to cover bail bonds, and I wonder how this housing market has affected the bail bonds business.

  • I wager a lot of bail bondsmen lost money on houses that dropped in value. Most bondsmen don't appraise the property beforehand, so the house could be worth a lot less than the bond.

  • Mike Matarazzo's last pro BB event was the 2001 Mr. Olympia, placed 21st. He was forced to retire due to open heart surgery on 8 Dec 2004 as a result of clogged arteries. This is the result of eating as much as 5 lbs of red meat per day.

He is currently residing in Modesto, California and was last reported to be working as a bail bondsman for AJ's Bail Bonds. On November 8, 2007, Matarazzo suffered a heart attack, his second cardiac-related problem since his surgery in December 2004.

  • What a great video! Great presenting! Thank-you very much for sharing that. I feel my views are similar to yours when it comes to this kind of stuff. Feel free to drop by and post a comment on my YouTube as well I am new here and could use a little help!

  • Get rid of Bad Boy's Bail Bonds, Aladdin Bail Bonds, Garcia Family Bail Bonds and AJ's Bail Bonds and you will get rid of a lot of problems with bail here in CA.
