  • All of them are amazing musicians. I love hearing them play classical! It sounds awesome! :)

  • I am a violinist and the Amadeus Quartet are my idols, but this is one of my favorite

performances of the G major finale. Righteous!

  • Mozart would be playing along and laughing all the way.

  • Totally AWESOME!!!

  • it sounds like bluegrass! sorry but it got a dislike from me. :-(

  • @lsmab Pretty sure it was supposed to.

  • Pretty sure this will be illegal soon considering that after just one dose I may be hooked for life!

  • 1 person wouldn't know talent if it hit them in the face.

  • wow great arrangement of such a wonderful string quartet. seriously im more and more impressed with every video i stumble upon of this group

  • Sick.

  • Brilliant!!

  • thile is unreal at the mandolin. amazing.

  • Fantastic! Love this piece and this movement. Well done.

  • <----- Picks his jaw up from the floor !

  • Bravo!!!

  • If somebody wants to play classical music with arrangements, with popular instruments or what else, THIS is the way. Very good! I like it.

  • Bela Fleck won a grammy doing a whole album of classical on banjo (Perpetual Motion). Thile also played on that album

  • @leomulder I think Gabe was did both and took lessons until he was 14 or 17 for traditional violin.

  • This is soooo amazing :D

  • PBSQ - Punch Brothers String Quartet. Maybe they should play the Edgar Meyer string quintet with Paul Kowert.

    Wonderful coda, wasn't it?

  • Please, make a CD of a bunch of "old fogie" music gone blue-grass (ish)...this is amazing!

Our quartet is looking at doing this piece, and seeing this has really made me appreciate all the talent.

  • Ok, that was awesome! and hilarious! (in a good way). Loved it!

  • A really virtuosic performance - brilliant, hilarious (the banjo runs had me rolling around in hysterics). It just shows that such fabulous music can speak for itself regardless of how it's presented. Well done guys, fantastic effort.

  • I'm impressed at how little vibrato Mr. Fiddler is using. Are you familiar with the historically authentic perfomance practice of Mozart's time? If not, you have some very intuitive instincts for the music of the period.

  • USC school of music, 12 years of classical violin lessons, etc....

  • I love when folk/bluegrass violinists play classical music. Yo-yo ma said he learned a great deal of playing with edgar meyer and mark o'connor (so much he re-recorded the bach suites) and this is a great example of that.

  • OK, I am blown away!!! You guys managed one of Mozarts most moving creations on unorthadox instruments!!!! I am a total fan!!!!

  • I actually find it somewhat astounding that this video doesn't have five stars overall rating. This is something really amazing.

  • I'll be first in line for the all Mozart album (or Bach).

  • I think Handel might translate well too...
