Tidus is not from Yuna's Time, I think he is from the past, Sin sucked him (lol) and end it up at Spria and when Yuna killed Sin he disaper to thin air (so sad)

Zanarkand and Bevelle were engaged in a war, The Machina War. Zanarkand was losing, but was ruled by a powerful leader, Yevon. Yevon Wished to keep the city alive, so he had all of his city's people become Fayth so that they could use their memories of Zanarkand to make a new one in it's image. Yevon took all of their souls, and then summoned a whole new Zanarkand. Dream Zanarkand was summoned far off in the sea, to keep it away from the war on the Spiran mainland.

However, Yevon, being peerless among summoners had too much of a strain on trying to keep Dream Zanarkand together, so "Sin" eventually took away Yevon's humanity, and he became Yu Yevon, the curse of Yevon. Sin, was of course programmed to attack highly populated areas with advanced technology, so being his first instinct, Sin attacked the two Zanarkands. Tidus was from this 'Dream Zanarkand' and was brought to Spira when Sin attacked it.
