perry stone does not charge for his conferences as far as I know, I've been to several here in ohio and never had to pay. However I did purchas dvd's and cd's which support his missions and his youth progams to get the kids on the right path. A prophet is worthy of his reward and I listen to him every chance I get and i've never heard him preach on money or beg for it as a matter of fact
Sure; the christians need the jewsih people in place in Israel when you-know-who comes back, so they can fulfill "prophecy" by being slaughtered as nonbelievers.
Anyway you could post the Manna Fest episode number for the clips you're posting on this channel? It would make it easier to keep track of what I've seen so far. BTW - Awesome to hear Perry is coming out to California! Never thought it would happen. I'll be there!
@jerico641 - I'm not sure if Perry charges for his conferences. The sermons he has upcoming in California are free, part of services at a church there. He does certainly ask a bit for his DVDs, CDs and books he mentions on the Manna Fest telecasts. I'm all for pastors being blessed, but strongly feel that anyone without the resources should be able to get anything inspired by the Holy Spirit for free.
Uh, huh...well it sounds like Ol' Stony is probably doing pretty well for himself; speaking for myself as an atheist, it sounds like a pretty good gig spouting off all this stuff that can't be proven or disproven. Btw, just curious, is healthcare something that those without the resources should get for free? I mean, if anything was endorsed by jesus, I would think decent health care would be at the top of his list...
@jerico641 - first of all, I do appreciate your candor in declaring your views on religion. Please not that this born again Christian, and others, do voice our opinions in order to help keep the body of Christ on the right path. I do not know how much Perry Stone's telecasts cost to produce, or how much of a paid staff he has. I do know of some big ministries (for example, Insight for Living) that have suggested donations for CDs, DVDs, etc., but make it clear it's yours free upon request.
Why would you want to keep a body on a path of...what?? As for evangelical preachers and their income, I suppose offering things for free but asking for donations probably makes them feel better while they're counting thier money. Btw, what about the healthcare question I asked? Feel free to tell me to fu...uh, buzz off, but I was just curious.
@jerico641 -- Honestly, sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder & may interpret things in that light. Some preachers on TV have made a lot of money. Others have voluntarily limited their income to middle class standards and trusted God to provide what they've needed, and have done so across their lives. Don't judge God's message to humanity by the actions of humans. Keep in mind, your salvation is not a matter of what preachers are doing. It's your personal relationship with Jesus.
I don't believe in any divine salvation. But regarding ministers, I was specifically referring to televangelists and those sort of people who seem to have bilked millions into following them, and just keep getting richer and richer selling not just a fake message, but material nonsense. I wasn't referring to a small town preacher trying to make ends meet. As for trusting a god to provide what they need, I wonder how much credit they give themselves for hard work?
@jerico641 - As for Obamacare, I personally believe its a curse that we deserve as our country became affluent and too many Christians became worldly (materialistic) in their lives and were not giving as Jesus indeed commanded each of us to be. Please note, again, born again Christians are out there who do not live for material gain, that earnestly try to walk in Jesus' footsteps. However, right now we're in the end times and people of all stripes wax worse & do not follow sound doctrine.
Well, I wasn't referring directly to the new health care law, what I meant was shouldn't ALL people have unlimited access to whatever health care they might need? Apparently, for whatever reasons you want to give, we can't trust in charitable people to come through on that. It's illogical to think that we can. Now, given all that, and in the spirit of love and charity, why would you believe that an offort to increase access to health care is a "curse"?
@jerico641 - Briefly, Obamacare will require mandatory $1000 payments by all, including the poor, in a few years. Obamacare also will, by 2016, require you be chipped (RFID tag). The devil is in the details -- literally. Obamacare was not pushed through for health care reasons. It's the stated justification. It's about control, about fundamentally changing the relationship between people vs. govt. Who will stand up to the govt when their healthcare - their lives - may be at stake? Few will
Well, forgive me, but I thought I was speaking to someone rational. There are no $1,000 mandatory payments from anyone mandated in this health care law. I don't have a clue as to where you got such a figure. And I also can't imagine where you got the delusion about some kind of "tag" we'll all have to wear. You know, all drivers have to have a license, and car insurance. Neither of those led to some kind of government monarchy; this is not some control conspiracy.

Yes, you're right, the health care law will in fact require everyone to have health insurance; but that doesnt mean they have to pay out a mandatory sum of $1,000.00; they have their own choices as to where they buy their health insurance. The law would not be effective at lowering all health care costs if it didn't include such a mandate; understand? Incidentally, that's the reason a public option would have been a good idea as well, but Congress shot that down.
Yes they do..
