@andr5748 The best way to accomplish this would be to add a new column to your excel file (the number series file in the video). Add a new column with your new number sequence and save the file. Then, re-merge the file in Microsoft Word and when you click the "Insert Merge Field" button, you should see your new column. Simply add the merge field where you wish for it to appear on the raffle tix!
Thank you. I went to ms publisher and found already made raffle tickets with numbers. It has 10 pages with eight tickets per page already numbered. You can add additional pages but it will only copy the last page showing or a blank page. The numbers don't run increase.
Thanks again. I will try your reply. I am new to ms 2007 and some of the options are different from ms 2010. Keep sharing.
@rmcjlive63 Good Question. As you saw in the video, I rotated the text within the table. That, however, is not always the way you want to design. So, another way to place text and rotate it is by using inserting a Text Box. To do this, go to Insert > Text box. When the dialog pops up, click on "Simple Text Box". Next, click on the text box and look to your top toolbar for the "Format" tab. In the tab to the left, you will see a "Text Direction" button that allows you to change the direction.
Hey Michael, great video!, but what can i do if i want a different nummber in each column?
