In your description you said it was HD. The only HD project on the market is a 2K or yet to be publicly used 4K. Thats almost 10 MegaPixles per inch. True HD.
sorry to ask, but wut projector do u have? I was thinking about going with the sanyo plv-z5 or plv-z2000. my converted garage is fully darken. the wife wants me to purchase a 73" mitsubishi rear projection. I want to get the biggest screen I can get. please advise. thanks!
Its ok. Lol sorry to say, but dont listen to your wife! If you have the space for it I say go for it! I have a benq sp830. Its got such vivid colors and its really bright, 4,000 lumens. Sorry, I tried looking for your previous comment but I couldn't find it to reply to it. All manufacturers have their flaws. So far I havent seen any from benq thoug. The infocus screnplay 4805 I had before had a really good image but the color wheel failed and the repair cost was so high I just bought the benq.
I actually painted the screen onto the wall before the projector came to my house (yes I was that eager lol) So it was pretty much dumb luck because the projector image fit right inside the screen border. What you can do is make sure the middle of the pj lens is in the middle of the wall you want the screen on and project a still image and mark the corners and mask it off with tape. Make sure the keystone and zoom are set before marking and painting. I will use a better camera and make a new vid
Thanks. It has 4 front L+R, center, 2 sub woofers, rear L+R, surround back L+R and surround back center. 12 in all. The thing is that there is only a small difference the extra speakers make because most dvd/hdtv material is in 5.1 and the surround channels are mixed to give you the surround back channels. You can hear the presence of the extra speakers but its not true sound. Theres only a small number of movies that were recorded in 7.1 surround. Thanks for looking :)
