Comparing one country's cars to one continent's cars, not really fair. Not to mention we have way different views on vehicles. We Americans squeeze out way more performance per dollar than any country in the world, but Europeans build much more reliable performers. That's why the $100k ACR spanks supercars on the track, and the M3 costs twice as much as the new 5.0 Mustang but has less torque and weighs more. But when you consider other factors like material quality, the cost seems justified.
