Iwasawa and Yui are characters from the anime Angel Beats. They both act as the frontman for a band called Girls Dead Monster at some point within the anime. Iwasawa's singing voice was done by marina(Girl singing Aimai Elegy) while Yui's was done by LiSa. And no you don't sound stupid at all :)
I just noticed, but there seems to be a lot of references to the rest of Deco*27's songs. Like the kiss that was in Two Breaths Walking. The dining utensils and 1:29 in the video the reminded me of Mozaik Role. The "sweet love" made me think of Cowardly Montblanc. The underwater bits reminded me of Deep Sea Girl. At 0:52 what looks like medicine popped up and that actually looked like it was from Crime and Punishment.
Overall, this song is like a combination of all of Deco*27's works.

Also, the "taste for sweets" line comes from the "amatou" in Trio Amatou, aka the Sweet-Loving Trio, aka the Trifectionaries. But yeah, that played the biggest part in Montblanc.

@vgperson I'm sorry if someone's already said this, but Nicosound also won't let you download it 'cause it wants you to buy the CD (I think, I can't read Japanese). Funny thing, I bought the album off iTunes, but for various reasons was trying to download the MP3 anyway when I discovered this. I'd feel guilty if I didn't buy it. ^^;

Sadly, seeing the word "Elegy" in the song's title makes me think of the Elegy of Emptiness from MM, which makes me think of the Elegy Statue, which makes me think of the creepy pasta "BEN DROWNED", which prevents me from sleeping for a week.

That was awesome. I absolutely adore Deco*27 songs. Though, does anyone have any information/links on Akka or mirto? I love the art style and I just looks so amazing. I would love to know more about them. I can't wait for the album to come out! I am so buying it.

Oh my goodness, this song is absolutely stunning. The lyrics are so meaningful to me, I felt goosebumps listening to this for the first time. I thank DECO*27 once again for providing me with this experience.

@Pregap Not really, I wouldn't say that LiSA would lose to marina, but I definitely would pick marina's voice for this kind of song. LiSA has her field, and marina has hers. This song wouldn't sound quite right with LiSA, but that definitely doesn't mean marina > LiSA.

I like LiSA too though, most certainly! When I say I prefer Marina, I simply meant that I prefer ~*her field*~ over LiSA's ~*field*~, as you put it. To each their own!

Iwasawa and Yui are characters from the anime Angel Beats. They both act as the frontman for a band called Girls Dead Monster at some point within the anime. Iwasawa's singing voice was done by marina(Girl singing Aimai Elegy) while Yui's was done by LiSa. And no you don't sound stupid at all :)

I just noticed, but there seems to be a lot of references to the rest of Deco*27's songs. Like the kiss that was in Two Breaths Walking. The dining utensils and 1:29 in the video the reminded me of Mozaik Role. The "sweet love" made me think of Cowardly Montblanc. The underwater bits reminded me of Deep Sea Girl. At 0:52 what looks like medicine popped up and that actually looked like it was from Crime and Punishment.
Overall, this song is like a combination of all of Deco*27's works.

@MitsukiHatsu True, but while it does have similarities to Deep-Sea Girl, that's by Yuuyu, not Deco. (Clearly, however, he was inspired both by that and by Dreameater on the Sand. Cough.)
Also, the "taste for sweets" line comes from the "amatou" in Trio Amatou, aka the Sweet-Loving Trio, aka the Trifectionaries. But yeah, that played the biggest part in Montblanc.

@MitsukiHatsu most Deco*27 songs are like that Mosaic Roll has parts of Cowardly Montblanc in it. Its cuz all the songs are by the same ppl so they tie and animation together.

OH GOD. That's Iwasawa's voice! Oh my god, I didn't expect Marina to sing...a DECO*27 song...I feel like I'm going to faint. This song is absolutely gorgeous, so beautiful, and so sad at the same time. Trio Amatou has done a great job again.

Dude, this is sooo awesome! I kinda wish it was sung by Gumi, cuz I love the Vocaloids, but Marina's voice is very pretty and suits this song a lot. I love when the song explodes at 1:05 and 2:18. SO EPIC! I would love to sing along, but the lyrics seem so fast.
