  • Thanks Charles n I got the close wing version non-weather at $150 from a local seller on eBay. Pls keep ur chogokin reviews coming in!!

  • @tanjwken Good buy you have there! Thanks for supporting. Will have new videos once I get some new stuffs. =)

  • Thanks Charles for the advice. I found one on our local eBay and hope to get it. Around $160 for the normal closed wing version non weather.

  • @tanjwken $160 is a fair deal. Hope you get it. =)

  • Hi Charles & everyone, love your video review and would like to ask if anyone know if this Aoshima Shin Seiki Gokin Shin Getter 1 is available to purchase in retail shops in Singapore? Iwent to China Square Central but didnt manage to catch it. I did not see this piece in Ng's Collection shop too. I saw this piece for pre-order at Big Bad Toys Store but the price is like USD $139 without shipping. Appreciate anyonewho can help me as I would really like to own this piece. Thank u for reading.

  • @tanjwken USD139 without shipping is a fair price to pay. Check out ebay and see if you can find one in Singapore. =)

  • wow you know that a company is pushing it when even the die hard collectors say NO and GTFO

  • @CrusaderGundam Yes, definitely their push for repaints is way too overboard. Apart from a few versions, the bulk of their repaints are pretty cheap. All thanks to them making 10 recolours of the same toy.

  • Hi I'm looking for a shin getter robot that would match my fewture set. is this more than 10inches? or whats the best alternative for for gokin shin getter.

  • @zzr400cc This Aoshima Shin Getter is about 22-25cm tall. It's definitely smaller than a Fewure Getter. I don't know of any Shin Getter that is to scale with the Aoshima Getter apart from the upcoming Fewture Shin Getter.

  • Hey is this the only version with the wing gimmick because my anime export version has two set of wings but does not have that wing gimmick

  • Was it windy outside by the time this video was uploaded?

  • Oh yea, don't forget to get your Shin Getter 2 from Hobbylink Japan, they're at 65% discount now, get them before they'll all gone.

  • Aoshima reissued Shin Getter 1 in 2007 called the "Closed Wing Version". This variant has an updated sculpt, a matte paint finish with some dab of weathering effect on it.

  • @nightslash3535 Thank you for the updated info on this piece. =)

  • Once again, another new version of one called the W-Wings (W literally translates as "double") version was released exclusive to Hobbylink Japan. This version features the updated sculpt seen on the Closed Wing version, this version came with both the regular wings and the Devil Wings, it also comes with the Scythe and Tomahawk. The paint is now metallic instead of glossy on the original or matte on the Closed Wing version. It's also the Shin Getter I have now.

  • I'm coming in way too late collecting this stuff!

I need this getter 1 to complete the set

  • Hands down for the best gokin representation of this bad boy.

  • @nightslash3535 Agreed. Definitely the best gokin representation so far. Fair amount of articulation and lots of diecast! =)

  • I hope aoshima can release the classic getter robo 1,2 and 3.

  • @blacksun2099 It is unlikely for any new products to be released from Aoshima and there's no news of any upcoming product at this point in time.

  • Another great review. I totally agree with you about the massive amounts or repaints.
