Believe it or not though there are a lot of Native Americans out there who don't mind at all to be called "Indian." Check out the site "All Things Cherokee" in which I will quote partially: "In the end, the term you choose to use (as an Indian or non-Indian) is your own personal choice. Very few Indians that I know care either way." However if you've learned what tribe they are from it is better to acknowledge them that way, out of respect.

It was a tv series, from HBO, I believe. It's available at DVD stores, but it can be hard to find. Try CD universe (on-line), as they have a wide selection. I want to buy it too, but I am hesitating, in case it gets released on Blu-Ray.

Only their faith in God saved them and miraculously brought them to this land where they thought they were free. I have often sympathized with the American Indians here.
