  • There is nothing creepy about theses classic is only all the silly horror films and other thing that have had puppets killing people and all that that make people think now a day that this sort of think is creep there is nothing horrible about theses classic of the past..

    You can't only blame this on modern cinema. Part of the problem is that this creature has fallen deep into the uncanny valley.

  • lol this is hilarious but i admit i'd b freked out 2 bad they closed euclid beach i wanted 2 go there when i heard about laffing sal

  • i remember going down to Santa Cruz Beach BoardWalk when I was around 5 or 6. But when we went to the King Neptunes Mini Golf; I was scared to DEATH of that clown. I actually ran and hid behind my older brother and dad whom were laughing at me. She still freaks me out with her booming laugh...

  • Euclid Beach park in Cleveland was home to Laffing Sal who stood right outside the Laff in the Dark ride. She was creepy and scary--even watching this gives me chills! Thanks for the memories!

  • This is one of the scairest things I have seen in a while. Yet, perversely, I kinda want one in my house.

  • Laffing Sal used to literally scare the s**t out of me when I was a little boy. That laugh she has was the creepiest I've ever heard; even to this day - and the way she gyrated in that glass cage just wasn't something my young mind could take. Of course when my parents found out I was scared to death of her, they would threaten to take me to see the "laughing lady" if I acted up. Funny thing is that even though I'm 48, this thing still gives me the creeps. She looks like Chucky!!
