Thank you Paul....wonderful piece. The pendulum / clock theme reminds me that life's clock is ticking....and we should be mindful of how we spend our time. There is nothing I'd rather invest my 'free' time in, than listening to great music, and I am constantly amazed at the 'mix' you offer us. My appreciation for your work is only exceeded by my envy of your talent! Thank you again for what you do for us. And if you are ever in Oklahoma...............
@carldreizler Thank you you are very kind. I've had this piano 5 years next month which seems a very rapid passage of time. I'll keep going although I'll admit it is hard to keep putting out videos at the rate I was doing a couple of years ago.
Thanks for responding to my video. I'm still new to this video thing, and was looking for ways to get some exposure. I've done many multi-track audio recordings, posted in various places, since 2000, but video I find a lot more challenging, but rewarding, to make a good single take recording. It really gives me a greater appreciation and respect for those keyboardists that can play complex pieces so beautifully without making any mistakes.
@stevero77 You're welcome. It is relatively difficult to generate interest in original material, but the rewards are greater. I find it takes a lot of work to plan a multi-track recording, and the end result lacks the spontaneity of a single take.
@jaapsneep Thanks - I've only just started doing it in the last couple of years, but it does sound odd if you neither sing nor play the melody. Obviously it was a lot easier in the case of this piece because I could just arrange for it to be that way.

I'm jealous at your ability to play both the melody and add something to the chords with just your right hand
