This saga didn't stop with this statement. She went to meet and speak to Troy High School's Gay Straight Student Allience yesterday (1/9/2012). During her speech she said homosexuality was a "mental disorder". The news reports have been materializing this morning. Things are going to get much worse for her!

What the Mayor doesn't seem to understand:

It's not just that particular comment, it's her entire "marriage is one man and one woman" belief system. Her belief system sits on a foundation of inequality. It says that only certain citizens have equal rights and, sorry, gay people, you can't have them. If she is going to govern, she can't possibly do it FAIRLY and PROPERLY with her kind of mindset. It will color every decision she makes.
