As Ive gotten older- I've learned that other things should've been my moral compass, like parents, family, teachers, etc. I now appreciate how and why so many kids are led astray- b/c they weren't as lucky as me to chose an 'idol' like these 4 fellows. I am lucky that I chose to follow a group like u2. I thank them, all 4 of them- for remaining humble, true and just in their doings. I love this band. I don't love the fact that Bono turned from an angry young man into an establishment figure. Rock n roll pioneers of the 50's would be turning with some of the things he says on stage, not to mention the photo ops with George Bush. I don't believe Bono is nieve so there must be an large element of meglomania in it. They stopped being really creative as a rock n roll outfit after Zoo TV, it was shortly after that his actavisim took over - keeping him in the media spotlight.

Far more than any previous president, or any following president for that matter. @daddyofisabel I agree, Bush did good with Africa but remember we elect leaders all over the world to do good things for our societies and those less well off in others. We shouldnt put them on any pedalstal and call them great for doing what we elect them for. They are greatly rewarded for the job they do on our behalf.
