I love the travel music that plays several times throughout this episode. I wonder if William Anderson has a full length track of it hidden on his computer somewhere.
The music from 9.02 to 9.18 really shows the composer's ability to make something EPIC out of a kid's show. I dunno, it just had a really nice, wide scale to it. Really beautifully orchestrated. :) Everything else in this episode's just as awesome. Glad these videos are here to demonstrate. :D
The mountain climbing theme is almost certainly based on the Fellowship theme from the Lord of the Rings films. Search for "The Ring Goes South" on YouTube and jump to about 1:15. :-)
@DavidLarsenM1 True, but wouldn't he have to have the files from the studio themselves? I mean, They are on seperate channels, but the final product is one track towards one video.
@BellyJellySmelly Because the studio wouldn't release the files themselves. The final product is in 5.1 surround, and the vocal tracks are usually always only on the front speakers, as that's where you expect them to from from. The music is unattached to any position in the image, and usually goes on all the channels. As I said, I'm guessing that he cut the front speakers would leave the music, and the reverb from the voices (as that is applied to all channels too). But that's just a guess.
I was wondering, can I use your vocal free videos for my fandub? Please let me know thanks :)

Anyone else hear the Fellowship theme from LotR, starting at about 7:13 and repeated several times?
I'm not saying it's a ripoff but it's a nice shout out.

I never notice how Rainbow Dash makes the sound track 20% cooler just by her being there.

Nice work, helps showcase Will Anderson's great soundtrack :)
I just noticed that 4:46 sort of reminds me of the Final Fantasy victory music

What software was used to rip out the voice so flawlessly?

@BellyJellySmelly The music and voices are on seperate channels, I'm guessing he just cut one of them.
