nothing happens. Methane tank can survive a big crash, if methane go out the tank it freezes and fly outisde immediatly.

In italy is like 60 years that people convert cars to go on methane (we have methane station too and is VEEEERY cheap.)

what a p**s poor test? Should have done the stock jag v's that jag and stock merc v's their merc. Then worked out resuts on percentages. I used "Veggie oil" no power increase at all when i used second hand oil all the good stuff is gone by then, on the new stuff all the good stuff is still there, but not much better

Here in Sweden the methane is produced in sewage facilities. It occurs naturally. So why waste it and release it into the sky, as methane is a 'greenhouse gas'? Opel, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Fiat, VW all these makes have CNG/Biogas cars in their model ranges. How come it hasn't reached Britain?

the chip fat idea is accesible to everyone and easy to do, but people are shit scared to try it and instead carry on buying diesel. There are many alternative fuels, we do no need electric crap. But these alternatives are kept hush hush, or dismissed out right. like the sugar cane fuels, they perform better than petrol and is sustainable but then every "green" bitch started saying people would starve if we used crops for fuel, wtf. There is enough room. If say the UK for instance was to become totally self sufficient, by building nuclear power stations, and taking land of land owners there would be plenty of room. And im sure we have the technology of irrigation system, and hydroponics to grow any plant on earth by artificial means (and the help of Genetically modified). So Bio ethanol or similar could easily be achieved.

You are right about the electric cars... but keep in mind that windmils are suitable to provide energy for cars... infact israel plans to doubble the amount of windmils they have and replace all civilian cars with electric ones because: they get 5% of their energy from wind and the energy used by electic cars would be 10% so they figgured its not utopic to get new alt-energy systems up and running

my car runs on liquefied petroleum gas at 1/3 of the petrols price per litre and the gas emitions are equal to an euro 3 car (my car is a non euro) so i think its greener and cheaper than petrol or diesel

the biggest problem with these sorts of fuel, is that they are not green, most people say that they are carbon neutral, by growing the plant, sucking up C02 then burning it , releasing the C02, but that is wrong, as if that were true it would break the 2nd of the 3 laws of thermodynamics , which can not happen.

the biggest problem , is trying to get an fuel that stores enough energy and doesnt disrupt food creation. but being as we have at least another 100 years of oil, we wont be around

Ever heard of a process called photosynthesis? 6 CO2 + 12 H2O -> C6H12O6 + 6O2.

O2 is released when the "fuel" grows. So fuels based entirely on products of photosynthesis are carbon neutral (the fuel serves as a battery for solar power). Crude oil is basically carbon neutral too... you just have to use a different time as reference to define "neutral" (Carboniferous and earlier).
