I have believed for a long time that companies that knowingly hire illegal workers should be fined and the people within the company that knew of these things should be punished. You cant say that explotation of a race for monotary gain is success. Also that this country has only been on a equal playing field for the last 40 or so years . White Americans have had a advantage since the country was created so that would explain differnces in jobs, education and the transfer of wealth . True "la raza" means the race. But, "La Raza" means Americans, people born in the New World. La Raza is synonym of "Americanos" since 1500. Oct. 12th is La Raza Day in the rest of the American continent. 1st choice was American Day, 2nd choice was Hispanic Day. They din't want to use Hispanic Day because it implied Spain. Mexicans, along with other Native Americans, lost their lands less than two hundred years ago. It's funny how White people love to say, "get over it, it was a long time ago," when it wasn't. It's called forgiveness and moving past things in the past. All our countries owe someone something. It would be impossible for every single country return and repay for errors done in the past and yes even in less then 200 years, a lot has changed. And the US citizens have a right to try and protect their country. There are people of all skin colors and decendents from different countries that oppose illegal immigration. Because they are undocumented workers, who not paying taxes, stealing people's Social Secruity and supporting corrupt businesses to pay less then minimum wage to them and make it harder for middle class americans. The current population of the USA is 300 million (+/-).
12 / 300 * 100 = 4% ( not .4%)
BUT, most illegals are of tax paying age (20-40), so the percentage of illegals to voting citizens of the same age is much higher! Maybe twice that!

No, you are wrong. I have known hispanics who are proud of being hispanic but are still against illegal immigration. Also, I knew a guy who lived in Canada once and he was hispanic but he would constantly say he was white. Why is this? No not because he is ashamed of being hispanic (he had a mexican flag in his room.) because apperantly there, they consider hispanics to be white.
