Talk to the CR England drivers, ask them about their pay, ask the IC's about how they are getting screwed. Money is with the smaller companies, or with the bull haulers. Heyl is a great company, but anyone in the industry has their preferences. Another great company is Prime, check them out and you might find a little more happiness.

Truckers are some good ol characters. I'm 14 and my dad used to be a trucker. my mum lives in Florida, I live in Northern Ontario and we allways drive there. At first I'se like WTF and now i grew some bollocks and I actually like it. yes, it takes alot out of you but it builds character and its a great experience.

I get how trucking is important to the distribution system of Western civilization, but since when did it become associated with country music? Country music grew out of the cowboy scene, and cowboys have nothing to do with trucking. Maybe herding can be compared to trucking, but there is no way in hell sitting in an air conditioned cab with your radio on can hold a candle to riding herds across country on horseback.

Truckers are some good ol characters. I'm 14 and my dad used to be a trucker. my mum lives in Florida, I live in Northern Ontario and we allways drive there. At first I'se like WTF and now i grew some bollocks and I actually like it. yes, it takes alot out of you but it builds character and its a great experience.
I listen to this song every time I'm on the road in my dad's truck.

I get how trucking is important to the distribution system of Western civilization, but since when did it become associated with country music? Country music grew out of the cowboy scene, and cowboys have nothing to do with trucking. Maybe herding can be compared to trucking, but there is no way in hell sitting in an air conditioned cab with your radio on can hold a candle to riding herds across country on horseback.

@lupischuckle the cowboy image is nothing but a Hollywood thing. really in essence, cowboys only existed in the movies because herding cattle is just another type of farming. now for the involvement of country music and trucking, all that is because a lot of the true truckers, and not the wanna be's grew up with country, so thats all they want to listen to, and their are country songs, and artists out their that relate to trucking. some of them being the road hammers, rhett akins, Kathy Mattea

Great song, the days of the true trucker are fading...we're still out there though. 16 years and addicted to it. My dad has driven for 50 years and still rolling, we will see if I can do it that long.
