I missed Mannequin. there are no other clubs like this one. Disney makes dreams come true I think not .they have tooken alot of the best things ever and now it looks like horror world. I use to dance there all the time. I am very disappointed they took the club away. Things will never be the same again.I hope one day they Bring it back. I also had a yearly pass there. Mainly that was the only club i liked out of all of them.They really need to bring it back.I know many miss it.

It's like the death of Studio 54. I had the pleasure of dancing on the floors of Mannequins. It moving rotating floor and the nitro blast made my college experience and disney. Thank You and Forever Good Bye
I grew up in Orlando and left in '94 at age 28 and really missed Mannequin's--it was TOTALLY AWESOME--like a continuous concert with pounding sounds, laser lights, smoke, robotic dancers, rotating floor, 3 levels--Disney, you really BLEW IT when you did away with this place!!!
Oh my gosh this looks amazing this is great. I love it so much. I would love to go to a club like that where they play hot dance remixes and hot heavy dance tracks . It was there at Disney World when I was younger but I couldn't go in because I was two. I hope they bring this club back so I can go and dance all night on the revolving dance floor. I am going to turn my living room and the conservatory into a night club just like Mannequins with a revolving dance floor and hot dance tracks xxxx

@tdg911 The song at '6:20' is a small bit of a song by 'Kraftwork' called 'Number'. If I remember correctly the song was released in the very early '80's. Basically it's the vocalist counting from 1 to 4 in French, German, Spanish and Japanesse. Hope this helps
I am one of the lighting programmers who did this light show. This show had not been running for 19 years. This was supposed to be a retrospective of past Mannequins music. The lighting programming was done about four years previous to the club closing. Most of the work was done by one team of lighting programmers and then everyone added their own style stuff. Different ops had different light shows. I'm so glad you guys liked the lights. It makes me happy to know that you noticed!

No, just new restraunts and more shops (just what Disney needs....Bulls**t!) We've have been going over to Universal's City Walk. The dance club (The Groove) isn't anything like Mannequins, but the other clubs there make up for it...alot of different entertainment. Downtown Orlando has a couple of good dance clubs...Disney messed up in our eyes,,,
Well, I can not get into any of those clubs after 10pm. Im under 21. I hear they have teen night (15-20yrs?) at The Groove, but Im not associating myself with young kids. Nothing but drama and I just want to dance. Besides I hear from my mom its not all that great anyways.
Anyways, I remember as a kid my mom took to me to pleasure island a few times and she always talked about Mannequins, I remember how bad I wanted to go in and dance on the rotating dance floor. I had planned to go when I was of age!
The more I think about it, the more irritated I am getting...damned shame..

I saw it for the last timeo n a crowed dance floor and a tear ran down my face.......i still can't believe that Disney has killed the music....and for what more restaraunts that will not fill up and more gift shops with worthless overpriced junk........the only place you could go to forget your troubles for just a few hours and all were welcomed
