guys its simple logic, yes indeed denzel should have won for malcolm X but he won it for training day instead (?!) Al Pacino should have won for either GF2 or DDafternoon but he won for Scent of a Woman the same year denzel was for Malcolm X, the thing i wanna say is that The Academy makes mistakes and after some time they correct them.

@coolpkb Oh yeah...I agree! Pacino was robbed for his performances in The Godfather many years prior and it was the "make-up" award when he won that year. I also agree with Golden Globes comment. For me, I respect indie awards, Golden Globes, and The Tony's (theatre/stage work) over the Oscars.
