philosophical problems are bewitchments that arise from philosophers' misguided attempts to consider the meaning of words independently of their context, usage, and grammar, what he called "language gone on holiday".[123]
"Anything you think about a lot becomes a problem".
Does that mean that, eventually, through a life-long dedication to philosophy, everything can become a problem to the individual who contemplates it?
He also said, "Take your time, go slow". What did he intend by this? Was he perhaps warning us to enjoy the present time as much as possible while holding off on comprehending the bigger picture for as long as possible, if only to prevent one from becoming insane from an abundance of truth?
A bit of self-preservational "alchemcal" insight lost on the "open every genetic lock and loci" fools at work everywhere today.
The Greek myths (Epimetheus and Tantalus, et al) are becoming the "dreadful" realities latent every "research" activity and "pure science" awaiting us.
thanks for the thoughtful comment. i think it was arthur c. clarke who said that the progress of technology can be curbed only to a certain point, beyond which human competitiveness and curiosity take over and won't let go. truth in itself is neither good nor bad, neither helpful nor dangerous - it all depends on how one uses it. but the _search_ for truth is itself innately dangerous, you might check out philosophers like paul feyerabend and mary midgley if you havent already.
Feyerabend, "in theory", is useful, but in practice his "aNaRchY' will only unleash our "experiment in extinction".
Rules and codes vital are to prevent self-immolation as grammar prevents gibberish.
You can overthrow it in poetic thought experiments, but when you start applying it to the dangerous elements you risk what Madame Curie did: poisoning herself with purity without understanding the material she was unleashing & embracing.
sorry. the video works fine from my computer - all i can suggest is trying another computer. if that doesn't work, well, the video really isnt that great anyway.

@voidforpurpose words are not experiments. They are thoughts at which point you lose ownership of the thought when speaking it.

This was very beautiful.

Thank you for sharing. You certainly selected a very interesting thinker, a different drummer, nice to hear the beats. Why not?
