Adu is the USA's best player and he makes all the players around him better. You saw that in the match against Spain. As soon as Adu was gone the USA lacked creativity. Lets hope Bradley starts him against Argentina.

This was a wonderful game for US's younger players, and really shows just how competitive US youth talent is with the rest of the world.
However, there's a severe drop off that US talent suffers during college years, and for now, that issue continues for the US.

LOL at when adriano crashes into the net...HILARIOUS! but you gotta give credit to Seitz, the USA keeper...he made a LOT of saves! ADU and ALTIDORE were BRILLIANT together the entire tournament. these men in this video are the ones that will lead the USA to victory in south africa in 2010

great game! good highlight vid too barrett. the usa looks fantastic i cant wait til they are playing together in the full MNT. altidore is the future! i think our D got a little bit sloppy at times but we got a great keeper in the net. im excited to what these guy can put together in the future.

what a great group of players on the US squad! solid all around the pitch with great speed and skill. im really looking forward to when they are the core group of the full MNT i think they will do well. altidore is the future i think for the us and i was impressed with jo as well as the expected pato. great game!

You got it! If the U.S players had more fast pace competion, the U.S would of been already a great power house by now. We have grown so quickly! No other country has accomplish what we have accomplish in a short amount of time! 14 years of playing the game and where at this level! WOW! VIVA EL FUTBOL, Y QUE VIVA USA CABRONES! The U20 world cup and games like this prove that the United States can be a dominating football country...It only falls off a bit thereafter because they dont get the same training and face the same competition that players in Europe get.

Not just the comment of like houdini, but the "wow" and "Oh" the crowd makes when Adu pulls out that move in the corner. The goal was lucky because Adu was shooting and Altidore was just in the right spot. This was a great game.

Pato(brazil) is awesome!!! i think he at milan now. i would love to see some of these guys from Brazil and USA - like Pato, Altidore,and Adu be on the same team at a club level in Europe or something. could you imagine that front-line in a few years? SICK!!!
