Those are proven to be effective in actual combat and are kung fu styles, there may be more effective styles but i just named the ones i´ve saw. A lot of kung fu styles aren´t really that effective in actual combat but yet it trains your movements and gives you a great coordination. You can´t say kung fu is gay just because you don´t like it, you just piss off people who train the art.
