somehow the standby button appears handicapped.

in the area of selections or buttons to Stand By, Turn Off and Restart,

just shows transparent and obviously I can't use it.

in power options properties are only three tabs.

1> Power Schemes 2> Advanced 3> UPS,

so that missing two or three more options, one is Hibernation.

the truth is I do not know how to fix this.
