  • Watch the movie again last week, didn't realize Michelle Pfeiffer was such a talented singer.

  • Great scene but because of the recording, Lullaby is transposed up to C# minor. Maybe I'll try playing it in that key. Sounds hipper.

  • na no no no bad scene this is not the best scene in this movie when this chappy who is 'looking for trouble' in Phiffers panties - when he come back to the ole jaz joint and he is playing away on those black and white mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm smooth jazz

  • I'm pretty sure the pianist is Joel Scott, not Louis Spears. This version unfortunately isn't the one on the soundtrack.

  • Hmm, I think you're absolutely right: thanks!

    'Lullaby Of Birdland'

Performed by Louis Spears, Kenny Dennis & Joel Scott. Written by George Shearing

    I will correct it.

  • I'm lookin for trouble!! Great post!

  • Wow! Thanks for posting and specially your fine description! That's a movie I like a lot because of the great jazz within it, added of course to the splendid acting stuff by the Bridges bros. even Michell's singing is quite appealing! Thanks Tovarski!
