For those confused.

The song is basically saying:

Robyn's (the songs) perspective is the 'new girl' he just met.

She is telling the guy to call his girlfriend and give her the 'talk' (explain to her that he is breaking up with her). She is telling him to give his reasons, let her down easy and tell her its not her fault BUT he met someone new (Robyn). Then she's saying don't tell her the details on why he likes the new girl (her) but just to say their still friends.
