To me it looks like they only waved yellow flags, that would mean that Couto was comming around a blind bend that is totally blocked, but is indicated as a minor incident... The race should have been red flagged right after Engstler hits Porteiro, the marshals had over 10 seconds to red flag the race before Couto arrived, but they didn't. So in my mind Couto is totally without fault in this crash... The fault lies with the marshals for not stopping the race because the track was blocked
@skynet0912 Double waived yellow flags do not indicate a small incident, but a huge danger on the track. One doesn't red flag a race in 5 seconds. When you see a double yellow flag you have to slow down, especially coming into a blind corner; and Couto should have known better, being a Macau specialist, that when you see a yellow in Macau you never know what's coming next. Crazy move from him
Franz Engstler broke his collarbone cos Couto is an idiot and didn't noticed yellow flags.There was a car before Couto and it managed to avoid Engstler,slowing down.Couto didn't.
Whoever designed the Macau course must have liked the idea of the smell of burning race drivers.
