  • I don't think he has a particulary storong voice or at the least he doesn't understand how to use it, it doesn't seem his strongest part, I mean he goes from screeching to crying and he doesn't really fit into the key very nicely, just thinking how great this would sound with Peter Murphy or Robert Smith singing instead.

  • Amazing. Absolutely amazing.

  • the guitars sound like missiles to me...

  • When the fuck Corgan wil learn to sing???????

  • we need to bring others here to share to word... yes the word is in her....

  • oh jeez, I never got into this song before (and I love Machina), but this version is intense and driving. I saw them at the Fillmore too, but it was a different day, they didn't play this the day I went, haha.

  • Some say that Billy Corgan has been known to create pure happiness with his bare hands and give it to orphan children.

  • This song is amazing, and this rendition might be my favorite! I've always thought that the liver version of this song is one of their best. I've never heard a live version that I thought was bad!

The ending of this is my favorite!

  • this is just from another planet. i mean... that bass line... fucking blew my mind.

  • sounds like Indian music. this version is kind of like a raga-- jamming on the same chord with a lot of improvising.

  • I meant to click on "thumbs up" for Jeffreylmcentire's comment, but was overcome with clumsiness and clicked on "thumbs down" instead. The raga is practically my favorite form of musical expression. (Shout outs to Ravi Shankar, Robbie Basho, and Matt Valentine.) This has been my favorite Pumpkins song for almost ten years, and this is a great version (as they all are).

  • right on. I bought Machina when it just came out-- it's hard to believe that was 10 years ago. Such an incredibly powerful album. It's one of my all time favorites. I'm glad someone agrees with me that is sounds like a raga. I also love indian music.

  • I'm as white as Billy Corgan you racist fuck.

  • An obvious comment... but if you have not bought this DVD yet, its SO worth it. The documentary is amusing, interesting, and raw. And the concert... amazing. I saw them live when then (finally (-; ) came back to Chicago and played the Congress, and it was life changing. Never got to see them when they were first together... too young o.O

  • It's barely the same song as the studio version. Wow! Unbelievable!

  • fuckin shit when each pick of that guitar sounds as if and angel is crying fuckin intense shit!!!!this song us ine of my all time faves so fuckin dark and psycadellic:)

  • This version was like 20 times better than the studio version in my opinion.

    Absolutely stunning.

  • @Envelion Ya I agree, and it was even better than the alternate version on Machina II, which I liked a lot. Wish I could find an MP3 of this live version.

  • Breathtaking... absolutely breathtaking!
