I had a cat who was blind at 1 1/2 years old from retinal atrophy and she had a very good life, as you are giving your cat. She used other senses remarkably, followed and caught flying bugs, using her senses of smell and hearing. Climbed trees and "hunted" toys. She was remarkable and happy; probably thought that was the way the world looked--dark but okay. No one ever believed she was blind. Even got outside all day but returned safely. You're a wonderful pet owner with lots of love.
