Can anyone provide even a single article from a serious journal or a juried conference paper that documents a link between the use of MI in school and improved performance? Im talking about observations of real school children & tasks.
Self-proclaimed educational consultants (mainly uninformed school-hustling, pedagogy pimps) take thousands of dollars from schools and claim that MI can help schools and children and offer no support for this claim. Can anyone cite ANY VALID evidence?
(a) MI is more than 20 years old, (b) Gardner has a huge budget for research, but no empirical research has been presented in peer-reviewed journals or conferences, and (c) the response to a call to Gardner's office was "we don't investigage MI, we just promote it" leads to the conclusion that despite ample opportunity, Gardner has not provided evidence to support his claims about MI. Gardner & those that promote MI should get some evidence for its validity or honestly admit that it has none.
i hate this shit i have to do it for a class online

There is not enough information or studies relating to MI to make an informed opinion.
