The interiors of these train sets are very similar to the New York City Subways newer train sets especially the bluish purple longitudinal seats. Just like NYC's version, they have four entry/exit doors on both sides of the train car, possibly both are 60 feet in length and both can be operated without a train operator if the automated mode is applied & utilized. The only difference, our Subways run via third rail while in my home country The Philippines, they used overhead wires.
The new generation of LRT-1 trains are also clean. As for the term "mega tren" i don't agree, its size is just the same as other metro systems in other major cities.
LRT-2 is a metro system done right. Alot of plus factors is the use of full metro cars, the number of ticket vending machines at every station and cleanliness inside the trains. Unlike LRT-1 and MRT which uses light rail cars plus the long ticket booths.

Actually this is 2nd best kind of subway/ metro rolling stock in the world as it is imported from South Korea. Of course, though we all know the best ones come from Japan. The 2nd best are from Korea. 3rd best maybe from Germany.
The rolling stock is made by ROTEM which is a Korean. Its not the best or 2nd best but its modern. The only thing is change the signages to digital just like the 3G LRT trains.

Its not medium rail. The cars used are for heavyrail similar to the size of HK's MTR K-stock. The only difference is the LRT-2 has a 4 car system which is longer compared to the 3 car system of BKK's skytrain or LA's MTA subway
Wow LRT-2 is actually more spacious than the Singapore MRT...
