  • Click on the chest bottom and remove

  • Does This Just Stop Virus' Getting In Or Delete Them?

  • it dose both but once you get it and set it up it stops pretty much all viruses

  • Thanks.

  • i need help with avast i can't use the chest!?

  • lol

  • Instead of selecting folders to scan, just select the drive scan...

  • like C drive? im kind new to this. my computer keeps saying i have trojans and spyware, but when i had the avast do a quick scan it didn't find any viruses. do i need to do the thorough scan and do you suggest any other programs?

  • Use Thorough Scan, with archive scanning if you have a virus.

Better yet, open Avast, click the little ^ Pointer, and go to "Schedule Boot Time Scan"

    Check "Scan All Local Disks"

    "Scan Archive Files"

and also "Advanced Options" and from the first box, select "Move Infected File to Chest"

BTW: I wrote that reply a year ago... be glad email exists : )

  • yeah thanks i really appreciate it. it's weird because i did the through scan on my C drive and it didn't find ANY viruses. im surprised because i'm still having problems, although defragging my computer and using the avast did help alittle bit. ill try what you said later though thanks again.
