I love being in YWAM because I can use the skills and passion that I have to serve God. My deepest and most long-lasting friendships are because of my involvement in YWAM. I have grown in my relationship with God, my ability to study the Bible, my understanding of other cultures, and my excitement for my future. I definitely recommend YWAM!

I just returned from a YWAM base, I had never been involved with one before.

I've been in ministry for quite some time now, and It was a very strange thing to see the way things are done at that base. things like "creative intercessions" that greatly trivialized prayer. when I tried to talk with one of the leaders he brushed me off and then sent me an Email how wrong I am about YWAM.

I think that It can be an amazing tool for God's will if not abused, but I saw a lot of people doing just that.

I would appreciate any comments about this, I understand that YWAM bases are different from place to place, and I would like to know what other people have thought.

@mistfree87 YWAM is dangerous, violent, authoritarian, and abusive. They want to overthrow the United States Constitution and replace it with Old Testament law.  They are frauds, manipulators, and con-artists. Scientology or The Peoples Temple might be a healthier choice than selling your soul to these monsters. YWAM leaders are trained in a technique called "breaking and wounding" they treat people like they are cattle to be whipped into submission. DO NOT join YWAM.

@mistfree87 YWAM will destroy your life - once you are in their cult - if you ever decide to leave - they will rally all their resources - which extend into police departments, pornography rings, Intelligence agencies, etc to harm you and destroy you any way they can.
